Chapter 301 To Support the Babies on Her Own
The kiss was lingering and even tender. At least compared to before, Brady seemed to have slowed down, no longer as aggressive. From lips to the tip of the tongue, he gently licked, slowly savoring every bit of Violet's deliciousness.
When Violet was left breathless and blushing from the kiss, Brady finally let her go and said, "I had a bit of alcohol earlier and forgot to eat a mint before kissing you. It must have tasted like alcohol, right?"
Indeed, there was a strong taste of alcohol, but Brady's sudden tenderness made it hard for Violet to criticize him. She just said, "It's okay, it wasn't too strong."
"Alright, next time I'll have a mint before kissing you." Brady smiled and touched Violet's face, treating her like his cherished girlfriend. He said, "Do you want to watch a movie? I'll take a shower and join you."
Hearing about watching a movie, Violet instinctively refused, "No, I should head back soon, or auntie will worry."
Seeing Violet's expression, Brady didn't insist or go for a shower. Instead, he put his arm around her, turned on the TV, and they watched a TV show together.
Brady almost never watched TV, but today was the first time in his 28 years that he was dating a woman.
Brady needed to be more down-to-earth, not always aloof or aggressive, which would push Violet away.
At that time, a romantic drama with many kissing scenes was on. Watching such a show was torturous, and Violet definitely didn't want Brady to kiss her again, so she said, "I don't like this, let's change it."
Brady picked up the high-tech remote and said, "What do you want to watch?"
"Let's watch Animal Planet," Violet said softly.
He thought, 'A grown-up watching Animal Planet?'
But since Violet wanted to watch it, Brady obliged and started looking for Animal Planet.
Finally, he found it, and the screen was filled with harmonious and cute little animals, without the embarrassing romantic drama scenes. Violet felt a bit more relaxed.
So, the two of them, each with their own thoughts, watched Animal Planet for half an hour.
Violet's aunt, worried about her, called to check in. Violet took the opportunity to use it as an excuse to leave. When she arrived at Emily's residence, she finally breathed a sigh of relief and went in to be with the baby.

The next day, Violet woke up at dawn. It was just 7 AM. She hurriedly got up, washed, changed clothes, fed the baby, and got everything ready before heading out to work. Brady's car was already parked outside the residence.
Seeing his car, Violet knew she couldn't avoid him, so she braced herself and got in.
However, Brady didn't do anything to her. When they arrived at the Hall Group, they went their separate ways. Violet returned to JK. Only Max knew about her resignation. He hadn't announced it to the company, hoping Brady would bring her back.
It seemed Max's decision was correct.
Otherwise, everyone would be gossiping about Violet.
Of course, when Violet arrived at JK, she first went to Max's office to apologize. She hadn't answered his calls in the past few days and felt very guilty. So, as soon as she entered his office, she immediately apologized. "Mr. Green, I'm sorry. I've had some personal issues recently and was in a bad mood, so I resigned and didn't answer your calls."
Max didn't want to blame Violet. He was just happy she was back. "Violet, if you have any issues in the future, you can talk to me. I'll help you."
Violet nodded. "Thank you, Mr. Green."
Max really didn't mind. He is utterly content just seeing Violet. "There's a haute couture show coming up in the industry. Would you like to join me?"
"What haute couture show?" For the past few months, Violet had only been working on individual design drafts.
"Our JK is collaborating with other brands for a runway show. The workload might be heavier, but it's a great opportunity, and it's your chance. You can use your name to brand your designs in this show, and the whole world will know." Max said slowly.
Listening to this, Violet felt a bit excited.
She really wanted to become a renowned designer so that she could support the baby on her own after leaving Brady.
