Chapter 294 Brady Had His Heart Melted
Brady stood outside Emily's mansion holding toys and rang the doorbell. Upon hearing the doorbell, Violet immediately instructed the two kids to stop talking and not to call her mom.
The two kids really didn't understand why their mom always asked them to do this.
But even though they didn't understand, they obediently followed Violet's words, so they kept quiet.
After giving instructions, Violet went to open the door.
Today, Brady had ditched his usual formal attire for a simple white T-shirt and a pair of casual pants, shedding his cold and abstinent CEO image from the Hall Group and appearing much more approachable.
Violet looked at Brady and instinctively froze for a moment. She rarely saw this approachable side of Brady. She was so taken aback that she forgot what to say. Brady, noticing her staring, said first, "Lost in thought looking at me?"
Violet snapped back to reality and awkwardly denied it. "No, Mr. Hall. Please come in."
Brady entered, and the two little kids standing in the living room widened their beautiful eyes, looking at Brady with an expression that implied their mom didn't allow her to talk to him.
As Brady walked over, the kids instinctively retreated behind Hellen, continuing to watch him.
Actually, Brady came to see them from time to time, but Violet always told them to stay away from him.
They couldn't understand why. In their mind, they thought Brady was so handsome and brought them the toys they liked and that he didn't seem like a bad person at all.
"Henry, Nicole, come here. Look what I got for you," Brady said, smiling slightly at the two kids who looked so much like him, shaking the toy bag in his hand.
Henry and Nicole peeked out from behind Hellen to look at the toy bag in Brady's hand. 'So curious. We really want to see what toys are in the bag. But mom won't allow it, right?'
The two little ones didn't dare to come out, only clutching Hellen's clothes with hesitant expressions, looking at Brady.
"Mr. Hall, if you want to do a paternity test, please hurry it up." Violet reminded him, not wanting him to stay in the mansion for too long.
Brady glanced back at her, knowing she wanted to rush him. He wasn't in a hurry. "Mr. Taylor hasn't arrived yet. I'll play with them for a while."
Violet knew Brady would definitely want to stay.
Brady reached out to Henry and Nicole. "Come here, how about playing with me? There are some new toys." As he spoke, he took out a small train model from the toy bag and waved it in front of them.
Seeing the beautiful little train, Henry and Nicole could hardly resist. They really wanted to play with this new toy train.
But Violet didn't allow them to get close to him.
Henry and Nicole felt really aggrieved; they wanted to play with this handsome man.
After a fierce internal struggle, Henry couldn't resist the temptation of the toy anymore. He looked at Violet and then at Hellen, finally saying in a cute, soft voice, "I want to play..."
Hellen didn't dare to make the decision and looked to Violet for help. Violet, afraid they couldn't resist calling her mom, bit her lip and nodded to Hellen, giving her permission.
Hellen then said, "Okay, but don't talk too much in front of Mr. Hall."
Henry and Nicole immediately nodded obediently, then happily ran out from behind Hellen to Brady, wanting to play with the new toy.
Especially Henry, who sweetly said to him, "I like you, Mr. Hall."
Brady's cold heart melted. He reached out to pat the little ones' heads. Then he picked them up and carried them to the play mat, playing with them.
