Chapter 267 Move out Early for Peace of Mind, Avoiding the Devereux Family and Brady

The next day, at the crack of dawn, Violet was in a good mood because of what happened yesterday and got up early to make baby food for Henry and Nicole.

Recently, Henry and Nicole had become picky eaters. They didn't like the fruit puree that Hellen gave them.

Violet was preparing rice porridge with some vegetable puree for the babies.

Of course, doing these things required getting up early, so Violet woke up at six o'clock, hastily freshened up, and went to the kitchen to prepare rice porridge and vegetable puree for the babies.

Violet's cooking skills were decent. Her mother used to cook with her frequently when she was alive.

Although Violet's dishes were less delicious than her mother's, she had learned to cook most dishes.

However, with so much happening later on and Violet taking on a job as a designer, often working overtime, she had no spare time to cook delicious meals for Henry and Nicole.

Every time Violet thought about it, she felt really guilty toward them.

Violet planned to make it up to Henry and Nicole whenever she had free time in the future. With this thought in mind, Violet took a deep breath, full of energy, and put an appropriate amount of rice into a clean pot.

After the rice porridge was done, Violet started making the vegetable puree.

Henry and Nicole were a bit picky and didn't like leafy greens, so she had to find ways to make them eat some, as an imbalanced diet could affect their health in the future.

Violet took out the broccoli and carrots from the fridge, washed them clean, and cut them into very small pieces.

She put the chopped vegetables into the pot, added an appropriate amount of water, and then cooked them over medium heat.

This took almost an hour, and both the rice porridge and vegetable puree were ready.

Violet poured these into small bowls to cool down. While they were cooling, Hellen woke up. Hearing noises from the kitchen, she skipped brushing her teeth and hurried to the kitchen to see what was happening.

Seeing Violet preparing breakfast so early, Hellen was curious. "Violet, did you wake up so early today just to make breakfast?"

Violet turned to look at Hellen, smiling, "Yes. It's been a long time since I made some baby food for Henry and Nicole, so I decided to wake up early this morning to make something for them since I'm not going to the office."

"Didn't you injure your fingers last night? You shouldn't get them wet. It might affect your design." Hellen knew Violet loved the babies, but Violet was injured last night.

Hellen said heartily, "You don't have to work so hard. I can do it."

"My fingers are fine now. I want to make something for them." Violet took off her apron and deliberately showed Hellen her fingers. Although her fingers bled a bit last night, it wasn't serious. There were just a few superficial cuts that bled a little. The wounds had been scabbed over today.

"Hellen, I've taken care of everything. Let's finish breakfast and then start moving, okay?" Violet said.

The sooner they moved, the sooner they could relax without the Devereux family and Brady.

She felt really bothered.

Hellen carefully examined the wound on her fingers, confirmed there was no issue, and then said,

"I'll go wash up and brush my teeth first."

"Okay, I'll check on the babies," Violet said.

The two then went about their tasks. Hellen went to freshen up while Violet went to take care of the children. Around 8 o'clock, Henry and Nicole woke up, and Violet and Hellen each took one to clean them up.

After that, they fed the babies, who had now fully transitioned to formula, making it a bit easier for Violet.

Once they finished feeding, Henry and Nicole obediently went to the living room to play. Violet then called Emily to inform her that they were moving today.

After the call with Emily, Violet called the moving company to ask for movers to help with the relocation.
