Chapter 967 Why Is Brady So Physically Fit?
Emily had barely left Austin's house when she couldn't resist calling Violet. She needed to share her feelings with her.
When the call went through, Violet was in the middle of a passionate moment with Brady on their plush couch. The phone rang until the last second before Violet, her face flushed, hastily pushed Brady off to answer Emily's call.
"Hey, did you finish the movie?" Violet asked, trying to steady her breath and suppress the embarrassment from her recent activities with Brady.
"Yeah, I did. Sorry to call you, hope I'm not interrupting?" Emily sighed.
"No, not at all." Violet's face reddened further as she instinctively pulled a thin blanket over her body, which was marked with Brady's love bites.
"Well, I wanted to tell you that I've decided to give him a chance." Emily sighed again. She had been hesitant, but Austin's recent kindness had softened her heart.
"Are you serious?" Violet was surprised. How could she decide after just one movie? "Did he do something to you?"
"No, nothing like that." Emily chuckled. "I'm planning to buy a gift tomorrow. Are you free?"
"Yeah, I am." Violet had taken a few days off for her wedding, so she didn't have to work.
"Great, we'll talk more tomorrow. I won't keep you any longer." Emily said before hanging up.
Violet, still holding her phone, felt a bit worried. Why did this happen so suddenly?
"Are you done talking?" Brady, who had been interrupted mid-act, was understandably a bit annoyed.
Violet put her phone aside, turned to the frustrated man, and threw a small pillow at him. "Yes, we are. Got a problem with that?"
Brady caught the pillow, laughed, and said, "I wouldn't dare. So, can we continue where we left off?"
Violet was silent. Why did Brady have so much stamina? She was exhausted.
"Emily just told me she's agreed to date Austin. Isn't that a bit too fast?"
Brady wasn't surprised by Emily's decision. He raised an eyebrow and said calmly, "Did she say why?"
"No, she said she'd talk to me tomorrow." Violet bit her lip, still puzzled by Emily's quick decision. She had been so conflicted before.
"Just give her a hint tomorrow. We shouldn't get too involved. It's their business." Brady moved closer, gently ruffling her messy hair.
Violet understood. It's better to let them handle their own relationship. "Okay."
"Now, let's get back to our business..." Brady pushed her back onto the couch, his voice low and seductive.
Violet blushed and glared at him. "If this keeps up... you're going to wear me out."
Usually, it was the man who made that statement. But in her case, she was the one being exhausted.
Brady was about to continue his conquest, but her words made him laugh. He leaned down to kiss her, trying to soothe her. "I can't help it. You're just too irresistible."
He was addicted to her.
The next morning, Violet woke up feeling sore all over. She cursed Brady while remembering her plan to meet Emily. She quickly got up, took care of the kids, and headed out to meet Emily to discuss the events of last night.
Emily had sent her a location. It was at a luxury store downtown. Violet followed the directions and had the family driver rush her to the store.
