Chapter 49 Has Miss Devereux only been to our CEO's office once?
After hanging up the phone, Violet tightly hugged her tablet to relieve the fatigue of a day's work and quickly went downstairs to take the subway.
Max was busy with something today.
There was no way for him to accompany her, and Violet was happy that he didn't. It would save her from having to explain things.
She reached the gate of the Hall family company.
Coincidentally, she ran into Brady again.
Violet pretended not to see him, quickly turned around, and walked briskly towards the subway station not far from the Hall family company.
The transportation around the company building was still very convenient.
But delivering things to different places seemed a bit troublesome.
Violet had to make every second count.
However, her evasive figure was still caught by Brady.
The man's dark eyes fixated on her petite and graceful figure, his gaze deepening.
Why was she carrying so many things home at this time to work overtime?
Brady couldn't help but be curious.
He unconsciously turned his gaze to his assistant Linda and asked, "Linda, do you know what she's doing?"
Linda didn't know who Mr. Hall was referring to. With a puzzled and cautious look, she asked, "Mr. Hall...Who are you asking about?"
Brady immediately glared at her, "Violet."
Ah? Violet?
Linda was instantly surprised and started looking around, searching for Violet's figure. Soon enough, she found her.
It really was Violet.
But why would Mr. Hall be interested in JK's intern designer?
Linda couldn't understand.
Didn't this Miss Devereux only visit their CEO's office once? Why did Mr. Hall remember her?
Of course, Linda couldn't figure it out.
Linda couldn't figure it out. Since Mr. Hall was interested, he would definitely investigate. "Mr. Hall, I'm not sure, I'll check right away."
Upon hearing that she would investigate, Brady's interest immediately waned. "No need," he said. He just wanted to ask a quick question.
No need?
Linda was stunned for a second. Why was there no need anymore?
After pondering for a moment, Linda suggested, "Then... shall we go?"
"Let's go," Brady agreed. After all, he still had business to attend to.
Violet was just a woman.
Why was he so concerned?
"Alright," Linda nodded respectfully.
Violet took the subway alone to deliver the clothing samples, while Brady sat in the Bentley silently contemplating recent company matters.
Initially, their paths were not supposed to cross.
But coincidentally, Brady was going to meet the same client that Violet was going to deliver the samples to.
Why would Brady decide to visit such a garment factory? There was only one reason.
The location of this factory was exceptionally advantageous.
It happened to border the piece of land he previously owned. If connected, it could create a perfectly efficient deep-water port with a throughput capacity of billions.
With such a geographical advantage, Brady naturally wouldn't miss out on it.
After all, Aiden had the same idea.
If he was one step behind and Aiden claimed it first, he would definitely use this factory as leverage against Brady.
Brady could not be blackmailed.
So, he had to make the first move.
The luxurious Bentley soon pulled into Aubrey Hagen’s clothing factory.
Violet's subway also arrived and stopped on the street in front of the clothing factory.
After getting off the subway, she immediately briskly walked towards the clothing factory at the back of the street.
However, just as she was about to enter the factory, Hellen called her.
Her two little darlings at home missed their mother dearly.
They kept pestering Hellen to hear Violet's voice.
Especially her mischievous son, Henry, who kept begging Hellen to take him to see his mother.
Hellen had no choice but to call Violet.
