Chapter 911 Brady, Do You Recognize This Method
Two men walked into the gun room, one after the other, each picking out a gun and tucking it into the back of their belts.
Once they had chosen their guns, Brady instructed Bob to take the male servants on the island into the banana grove.
The group cautiously searched the grove, keeping an eye on their surroundings.
They finally reached the spot Julie had found earlier.
Brady stopped and began to carefully observe the small area.
Arthur stood beside him, also observing.
Despite their thorough inspection, they found nothing unusual.
Brady decided to move forward to check further.
Suddenly, Arthur grabbed his arm and said, "Hey, check out the soil under that tree. Doesn't it look kinda off? The surrounding soil is firm, but that spot looks loose, like someone messed with it."
Brady followed Arthur's gaze.
The tree itself seemed normal, but the soil beneath it did appear loose.
Brady glanced at it and immediately told Bob, "Bob, go check that spot."
Bob nodded and, along with two young male servants, began digging.
They had barely started when they uncovered a bloodied arm.
Bob and the two servants recoiled in shock.
"Mr. Hall, it looks like it's Dora. The sleeve on the arm is from our maid's uniform," Bob reported, wiping the sweat from his frightened face. His complexion was pale, and he was visibly shaken.
He had never seen a dead body before.
This was his first time, and it was his colleague.
He was truly terrified.
"Dig her out," Brady ordered, wanting to see how she had been killed.
The two servants, despite their fear, quickly resumed digging.
After a while, Dora's contorted face was exposed to the sunlight.
Brady and Arthur both approached and crouched down to examine her.
They were seasoned and had seen many dead bodies, so they weren't afraid.
Bob and the two servants, however, had never encountered anything like this.
Once the pit was fully dug, they stood back, watching from a distance, too scared to inspect the body themselves.
They wondered who had killed Dora.
They had worked on this private island for a long time, and nothing like this had ever happened.
Could it be that intruders had come?
Bob and the two servants trembled as they speculated.
Brady and Arthur carefully examined Dora's wounds.
The cut on her neck was clean and precise, indicating it was done by someone skilled, not a novice.
From the method used to slit her throat, it was clear that it was the same organization they had fought against years ago.
It seemed that the organization hadn't been completely eradicated.
Brady was relieved that he had hidden Julie.
If she had stayed at home, she might have been killed already.
"Brady, do you recognize this method?" Arthur asked, turning to the man with a furrowed brow.
"It's inevitable," Brady said, standing up. He told Bob, "Find something to carry her out and then call the police."
"Won't calling the police alert them?" Bob asked, worried that if the organization was indeed after Julie, calling the police might tip them off.
"They've probably been here for more than a day, hiding. I fear they're waiting for our vacation to end to make their move on Julie," Brady said, having had previous encounters with the organization and knowing their tactics.
