Chapter 216 His mind was full of confusion. Who were these two children?
In less than ten minutes, the engineer found the IP address of that person's email. It was cleverly a foreign email address, and the bank that received the payment from this female editor was also located abroad. They couldn't find detailed information.
Linda didn't continue investigating and instead reported the situation to Brady Hall and waited for his decision. As for this female editor, according to Mr. Hall's instructions, she would clarify and apologize during Loraine Plahn's press release and restore the Hall family's innocence. Otherwise, the Hall family would retain the right to pursue legal actions against her. The female editor didn't want to get involved in a lawsuit at such a young age. Whatever they said, she would naturally comply.
Hitherto, the event had been taken care of. Brady Hall initially planned to inform Violet about this matter. He tried calling her but she didn't answer. He found out from Max that she was hospitalized due to water poisoning.
Brady Hall immediately arranged for Linda to visit her on his behalf. He would go after finishing his current tasks.
However, Violet really didn't want the whole company to know about her illness and hospitalization. So when Linda was arranged to visit her, Violet quickly forced herself to get up and pretended that she was in good health and had already recovered. She exchanged a few words with Linda and sent her off.
However, Linda was not easily fooled. He was appointed by Mr. Hall to visit her. So Linda took out his phone and said to Violet, "Violet, can I take a photo of you? Mr. Hall is worried about your health."
Violet was truly speechless.
"Linda, my condition has nothing to do with Mr. Hall. You don't need to take photos of him. You can go ahead, I'm fine now."
Linda was in a dilemma. He didn't want to randomly take photos of a girl, but he also had to inform Mr. Hall. So he apologized sincerely. "Violet, I'm really sorry. If I don't take a photo for Mr. Hall to see, he will give me a hard time."
Violet was speechless.
After biting her lip and considering that dragging this on was pointless, she said, "Then hurry up and take the photo."
Linda quickly nodded and took out his camera. He snapped a picture of Violet, showing that her condition was "not bad," and sent it to Brady Hall.
After finishing the conversation, Linda didn't bother Violet and prepared to leave.
However, before leaving, she remembered something she had to do today and said, "Violet, Mr. Hall has already found out who posted the message for you. They haven't identified the mastermind behind it yet, but the person who posted it will join you in the press conference."
"You don't have to worry anymore."
Violet was taken aback, surprised by how efficient Brady Hall was. She immediately said, "Thank you, Mr. Hall."
"Violet, it's better to say thank you in person," Linda said with a smile. "I won't disturb you any longer."
After saying that, he left.
Violet sat on the bed, furrowing her brows and pondering the situation. Linda's words seemed to be correct. If he really helped her find the real culprit, she should thank him. As she was pondering, Hellen came with the babies.
As soon as the two little ones entered the hospital room and saw her, they happily opened their arms and wanted Violet to hold them.
Violet had only recently recovered her strength and couldn't lift them, so she could only reach out and touch their little heads, saying, "Babies, can I hold you when I feel better?"
"What's wrong with you, Mommy?" Little Henry blinked his big eyes and asked Violet, puzzled.
"My stomach doesn't feel well, but I'll be able to hold you once I feel better." Violet teased them with a smile.
Little Henry didn't quite understand, but it didn't matter. Mommy would always be able to hold them.
"Violet, are you really okay?" Hellen put aside the oatmeal and asked with concern.
"I'm fine. Do I look bad?" Violet looked at Hellen and said.
"Did you eat something that caused your stomachache?"
"Yeah, I went out for lunch, probably ate something contaminated," Violet intentionally said so to avoid worrying Hellen.
Hellen looked at her from left to right and, after confirming that there was indeed nothing serious, nodded in relief.
However, when Violet was playing with the two little ones on the bed, Max came home from work, carrying a big box of fruits.
Knocking on the door and entering, he saw two beautiful babies on Violet's bed and was instantly shocked.
His mind was full of confusion. Who were these two children?
