Violet didn't want to say anything and turned to go back to the hospital to check on Nicole.
Just as she turned, Ava grabbed her arm and coldly said, "You think you can just leave after hitting me? Do you think I'm someone you can hit at will?"
"Let go of me," Violet said, not wanting to waste time with her.
"Quick, tie her up for me," Ava shouted for help while raising her hand to slap Violet.
Just as her hand was about to come down, Matilda returned. Seeing they struggling at the staircase, especially seeing Ava about to hit Violet, she immediately strode over and angrily scolded, "Ava, what are you doing?"
"I'm teaching her how to be a proper member of the Hall family, not to challenge me!" Ava held onto Violet, not worried that Matilda would blame her at all.
"Let go of me, I need to go to the hospital," Violet said.
Seeing this, Matilda instinctively helped Violet and said, "Ava, let's talk this out. Let go of her."
Ava gave Violet a hard shove before letting her go.
Matilda, not knowing what had happened, saw her leaving without saying anything and quickly asked, "Violet, what happened? Why are you in such a hurry to leave?"
"Grandma, Nicole is unconscious and was taken to the hospital. I need to go see her," Violet said, her eyes reddening.
"How did she suddenly become unconscious?" Matilda asked, worried.
"Grandma, starting tomorrow, we're moving out. I can't let Nicole stay here. If something happens again, I won't be able to save her," Violet said, not directly accusing, but Matilda understood.
After saying this, Violet quickly ran out.
Matilda stood there in shock, her mind in a whirl. What was going on? Did Violet mean that Ava bullied Nicole?
Even if Ava didn't like Violet, Nicole was Brady's daughter, who had Hall family blood running through her veins. How could she be so cruel?
