Chapter 358 Do They Really Need to Buy It Right Away?

At 2:30 PM, Hellen had a meeting with the real estate agent. She dressed the kids while Violet packed their stuff.

They worked quickly and soon were ready to go.

Hellen and Violet each took a child's hand and headed out.

Outside, Hellen glanced at the scorching sun, feeling a bit anxious. "Violet, do you think that person will buy our house?" she asked.

Violet reassured her, "Aunt, it's okay if he doesn't. We still have two years before Henry and Nicole start kindergarten. I can earn the money for a house by then."

Hellen recognized Violet's determination, yet with New Future City's housing prices, it was a formidable challenge.

Hellen's house wasn't new but had a decent location, worth about $500,000—enough to buy a house in a good area.

Hellen wanted the kids to go to a better kindergarten, especially since Henry was brilliant and needed proper nurturing.

"Violet, I know you want to do this on your own, but the kids can't wait. Even if you work hard for two years, it won't be enough. Don't feel bad about using my money. I have no husband or kids, and the house will be yours eventually. We're just using it a bit earlier," Hellen said earnestly.

Violet felt warmth and guilt as she hesitated to use Helen's money, though Helen was right; Henry and Nicole were eager.

In two years, Violet's salary wouldn't cover much of a down payment.

The kids needed to start school; they couldn't wait.

So, Violet nodded and said, "Aunt, I'll pay you back when I can."

"Good child, didn't I say I'd help you?" Hellen smiled, patting Violet's hand. "Let's go, or the agent will get anxious."

"Okay." Violet nodded, holding Nicole's hand tightly as they took a cab back to their old apartment with Hellen.

Twenty minutes later, the taxi stopped in front of their old place.

Violet got out with Nicole, followed by Hellen and Henry. The real estate agent, who had been communicating with Hellen, noticed them and approached with documents.

"Lady Hall, you're finally here. The customer has been waiting for ten minutes," the agent said warmly.

"Really? I'm so sorry, we got stuck in traffic," Hellen said, a bit embarrassed.

The agent waved it off. "No problem. Let's go see the house. The customer seems very interested."

"You mean he's planning to buy?" Hellen felt a bit excited.

The agent nodded. "Yes, he wants to buy it for his parents and move in within a few days."

"So soon?" Hellen was surprised. She knew selling a house wasn't usually this quick.

"If it sells, that would be wonderful," Hellen said, feeling happy at the prospect of getting the money quickly.

However, Violet felt skeptical. The buyer seemed in a big hurry. 'Was it really that urgent?' she thought.
