Chapter 514 She Still Has Value
In the east of the city, the night wind hit the glass windows of the old villa, adding a touch of horror to this peaceful night.
Lilian was sleeping on the second floor of the villa.
Suddenly, a sound like a heavy object hitting the wallwoke her up instantly.
She looked around the bedroom. The soundhad disappeared. She wiped the sweat from her forehead caused by the dream.
Was that sound just a dream? It should be, after all, she had just had a nightmare.
Lilian took a breath, and the sweat on her forehead was wiped dry.
However, she had been imprisoned here for many days. Why hadn't that mysterious man gone to take revenge on Violet and the others?
She could only wait. Just as she was about to sleep, the sound of the heavy object hitting came again.
This time, the sound was even clearer.
It sounded like the muffled thud of flesh hitting the wall, and there were also whispering voices in the sound.
Lilian tried to hear what was being said downstairs.
However, she could barely figure out anything. So she went downstairs to take a look.
She quickly came out of the bedroom, and the hallway was cold and quiet.
It made her feel cold.
Lilian walked quickly towards the stairs. She finally reached the bottom of the stairs. But she didn't dare to go any further. Seeing the bloody scene in the living room, her face turned pale. She collapsed on the stairs, staring wide-eyed at the man being brutally slit in the throat by a group of masked men. They then extracted the tracker.
The black tracker, covered in blood, almost made Lilian, faint from fright.
Fortunately, she didn't pass out.
One of the men quickly wiped the blood off the tracker and handed it to the leader.
This man, Lilian guessed, must be the mysterious person.
She suddenly realized that she might have been kidnapped. Although she wanted to kill Violet, she had never thought of using such cruel methods.
She just needed to sold her to that vegetative man's family as a wife.
Lilian now wanted to back out, but if she did, these people would probably kill her too. Since that was the case, she had no other choice.
Lilian continued to watch them.
The leader immediately snapped it in half. Another person reported, "Brady will act tonight."
The leader let out a cold laugh. "Let's go."
"Should we take Lilian with us?"
"Yes. She still has value," The man said coldly and walked out first.
The others then began pouring a strong mixed acid onto the already dead man, and instantly the man was corroded into a puddle of liquid.
After destroying the evidence, they immediately pulled Lilian, and took her outside.
