Chapter 56 Is Violet Getting Married and Having a Child?
The two of them hugged for a long time before separating, and Violet excitedly caught up with her.
Emily was concerned about her hunger and said, "Let's grab a meal first. I saw you rubbing your stomach when you came out, so you must be hungry."
Violet nodded in agreement.
She was truly famished.
Emily's sports car was parked at the intersection ahead, a very cool red Ferrari, proving that she was indeed a wealthy woman.
Everywhere she went, it was so glamorous.
Violet followed her to the car and couldn't help but tease her and make fun of herself, saying,
"It's been so long since I've ridden in such a cool sports car. I'm starting to feel a bit embarrassed, like I'm a poor loser, dragging you down."
Upon hearing this, Emily immediately burst into laughter, gently touching Violet's tender and smooth face and said, "Then, just stick with me in the future. I guarantee you'll live a life of luxury."
"Sounds good."
"Let's go, I'll take you to eat some delicious food." Emily didn't mind at all that Violet had been kicked out by the Devereux family. She still wanted to be good to her and remain friends with her.
"Okay."
The stylish Ferrari quickly raced through the night like the wind, and before long, they arrived at a high-end private restaurant.
The two of them got out of the car to have a meal.
After finishing, they bought some snacks, and then Emily took Violet to visit her newly purchased upscale apartment.
Violet had no objections.
Emily's apartment was located in the most prosperous area of the CBD, where every inch of land was worth its weight in gold.
In short, you couldn't get an apartment here for less than 50 million.
So only the extremely wealthy lived here.
Violet and Emily took the elevator up to the 25th floor and entered the luxurious apartment.
Climbing up to the top floor, there were two households in total. On one side was Emily, but she didn't know who lived on the other side.
Emily mentioned that she just moved in today and hadn't seen anyone coming back to the opposite side, so she guessed that maybe the other person doesn't live there often.
Emily entered the password and let Violet in.
Violet casually changed into slippers and entered the living room with Emily. Just as she suspected, Emily's place was luxurious, with crystal lights, stained glass, and extravagant marble floor tiles.
"Please make yourself at home. Let me get you a drink," said Emily as she tossed her bag onto the sofa and went to the open dining area to fetch a beverage for Violet.
"By the way, what would you like? Sprite or Coke? I remember you used to love Coke, so I'll get you a can."
"No, thank you. I don't drink those anymore," Violet replied.
Since she was breastfeeding, she had quit many types of beverages. Coffee, Sprite, and cola were off-limits.
Emily, who was unaware of Violet having a child, was naturally surprised. "Are you on a diet? I remember you used to enjoy drinking them."
"What about you? What do you drink?"
"Just plain water."
"Are you really on a diet?" Emily poured warm water for her in surprise. She didn't think Violet was overweight at all.
In fact, she seemed a bit thin. Why would she want to lose weight?
"No, it's not for dieting," Violet looked at her hesitantly, wondering if she should tell her about having given birth already.
"What is it for then? Health reasons?" Emily approached with the warm water, curious about the baby's arrival.
Of course, it was a random question, mainly out of concern for Violet.
"Emily, there's something I want to tell you... Can you keep it a secret?" Violet hesitated for a moment, looked at Emily, and slowly said, "I'm currently breastfeeding."
Upon hearing this, the glass in Emily's hand almost dropped to the floor.

Breastfeeding?
Violet got married and had a child?
How come she didn't mention anything before? Emily was somewhat shocked.
After the initial shock settled, she calmed down and asked, "Violet, you got married? Why didn't you tell me?"
Violet shook her head, "I'm not married. It's about having a child... I've only told you for now, can you keep it a secret?"
Emily was taken aback, not quite understanding the sudden news of Violet having a child. But considering their relationship, she would definitely keep it a secret.
