Chapter 1059 Is My Nicole's Slow Thinking a Sign of Low Intelligence?
On the other side of town, at an international preschool in New Future City...
Brady had cleared his entire morning schedule to accompany Violet and their two kids for the preschool interview.
This preschool was known for having the best private education in all of New Future City.
From the curriculum to the teaching staff, everything was top-notch.
They offered a comprehensive bilingual education with a focus on elite standards, and the tuition was $50,000 a year.
So, not just anyone could get in.
Both parents and children had to go through an interview process.
Violet had a bachelor's degree, but it wasn't from a prestigious university. Brady, on the other hand, was much more impressive. She hadn't known where he graduated from until she asked and found out he was an alumnus of the top university in New Future City. He had also spent two years studying abroad for his master's degree, gaining experience in Vesperia.
His resume was impressive.
Not something an average person could compete with.
Violet felt confident that with Brady by her side, they wouldn't have any issues.
So, when she pulled Brady into the principal's office, she wasn't too nervous.
After all, Brady was there to handle everything!
Meanwhile, Henry and Nicole were taken to another classroom for their assessment.
Principal Lonnie Caldwell reviewed Brady's and Violet's files.
There was no need for many questions; he was ready to accept their two precious children.
After all, the Hall family was a top-tier household.
Brady's resume was impeccable, and while Violet's academic background wasn't as strong, she had won awards in the design industry, which Lonnie found impressive.
After a quick glance through their files, Lonnie said politely, "Mr. Hall, Mrs. Hall, I've reviewed your information. It's excellent and meets our requirements for parents."
Violet relaxed instantly upon hearing this and said, "Thank you."
"However, while you both meet our criteria, we need to see how your children adapt to our preschool environment," Lonnie added carefully.
"How do you determine if the children are a good fit?" Brady asked.
"You can go next door to observe how your children are adapting. Our teachers are currently assessing them," Lonnie said, standing up and gesturing for them to follow him to the next room.
"Alright, thank you," Violet nodded, holding Brady's hand as they went to check on Henry and Nicole.
In the next classroom, three teachers were with Henry and Nicole.
One teacher was a native English speaker, another was a psychologist, and the third was the main subject teacher.
They worked together, using test cards and various model toys to see how Henry and Nicole responded.
When Lonnie brought Violet and Brady in, the psychologist immediately stood up and walked over to them.
"Mr. Caldwell, Mr. Hall, Mrs. Hall."
Lonnie glanced at the two children still being tested and asked, "How are the results?"
"Henry is doing well. He's very active and quick-thinking," the psychologist reported honestly. However, when it came to Nicole, she was more cautious, "But Nicole is a bit slower. She's very quiet, doesn't make a fuss, but her thinking is slow and she often falls behind."
The psychologist felt that Nicole's introversion was affecting her ability to process information.
"Miss, what do you mean by that? Are you saying Nicole's slow thinking means she has a low intelligence quotient?" Violet asked, worried.
The psychologist shook her head, "No, Mrs. Hall, you don't need to worry. When I say slow, I don't mean her intelligence quotient. I think she's just very introverted and reluctant to express herself, so when we try to communicate with her, her responses are slow."
Relieved that it wasn't an intelligence quotient issue, Violet said, "She is very introverted by nature."
