Chapter 463 This Man Is Really Mysterious
"I've offended too many people, one more doesn't make a difference. But this person seems to have suddenly appeared in New Future City. I'll check it," Brady said, then lowered his head to kiss Violet's face. "By the way, I also found out about the poisoning incident."
Mentioning the poisoning made Violet's eyes widen in surprise. "I had almost forgotten about that."
"It took a lot of time; this person is too cunning," Brady sneered, "But she will pay the price."
"Who is it?" Violet had her suspicions but no evidence, so she couldn't say anything recklessly.
"Your boss, Laura," Brady said gently, "Don't worry, I'll make sure she ends up in jail."
Violet thought, 'It's really her.'
How could Laura be so skilled, able to deceive so many people at the Hall Group, destroy the surveillance, and even evade someone as capable as Brady? But she was still found out.
"Get some rest. I'll arrange for someone to protect you from now on," Brady didn't want her to overthink right after waking up.
"Thank you." Violet took a deep breath and looked at Brady, feeling a mix of warmth and anxiety.
She should have told him about Ava's things earlier, not waited until the child was taken to leave.
But now, she relied on Brady even more, afraid she would find it harder to leave him.
What should she do then?
"Don't say that. I should protecting you. Alright, get some rest. Tonight, Hellen and I will stay with the kids," Brady said gently.
After the kidnapping, Violet felt exhausted even though she wasn't harmed, so she closed her eyes and went back to sleep.
While Violet rested, Brady took the note and went outside.
Once outside, he unfolded the note again, read it a few times, and then took out his phone to call Arthur, "Arthur, did you check it up?"
Arthur was just about to discuss it with him. "We really are in sync; I was just about to call you about this."
"What did you find out?"
Arthur said helplessly, "Nothing,That's why I call you. It's too strange; this person is really mysterious."
"I only found his subordinates, but it's useless. No one lives there, and the trail went cold," Brady said in a deep voice.
"We need to be more careful. Besides Aiden, there's now another person in New Future City who wants to go after you."
Brady said, "You too."
Arthur chuckled, "Got it. I'll keep checking it."
"Alright, thank you."
Brady put down the phone, his gaze intense as he looked into the distance. If he found this person, he would definitely take revenge.
Violet continued to sleep for over an hour before waking up.
Then she called Emily.
Emily didn't know she was back yet and was at the police station with Quentin, looking for her.
When she got the call, Emily was so excited she almost fainted. After calming down, she said, "Are you really okay?"
"Yeah, I'm fine."
Emily cried, "Okay...Great! I was so worried about you."
"We need to be more careful when we go out from now on. That person wanted to get back at Brady and targeted me." Violet felt troubled just thinking about it.
Emily wiped her tears and asked, "Who is that person? Did Brady find you?"
"No, that person sent me back. It's very strange. I'll explain it to you in detail later."
"Alright, rest first. I'll come see you tomorrow."
"Okay."
