Chapter 726 Is Violet Pregnant Again
Violet glanced at Charlotte, feeling a bit suspicious.
But seeing Charlotte's condition, which seemed genuinely dangerous, she decided to hold off on her questions and take her to the hospital first.
The sleek black car quickly started up and sped away from Harbor Bay, disappearing into the thick night.
Charlotte knew Violet was watching her, but she didn't plan to say much.
She continued to lean against Calliope's shoulder, pretending to be unconscious.
Calliope, who hadn't seen Violet in a while, started chatting enthusiastically in the car. "Hey Violet, how's your health now? And the baby?"
The last time Violet had been in an accident, Calliope was away on a work assignment and couldn't come back.
By the time she returned, Violet had already been discharged from the hospital.
She had planned to visit Violet at her home, but unexpectedly, Violet had come to Harbor Bay tonight.
"I'm doing well, nothing to worry about," Violet said with a smile, gently touching her slightly rounded belly.
"That's awesome! I'm so excited for your baby to be born. I can't wait to hold her," Calliope said, her eyes filled with envy.
Every time she saw Brady and Violet's loving interactions, she felt a pang of jealousy.
And then there were Henry and Nicole, their two kids.
Whenever she visited them, they would adorably cling to her, sparking her desire to become a mother.
"It's early, we have more than half a year to go!"
"I can't wait. I love kids now," Calliope said, enviously.
Violet smiled and said, "I heard from Brady that you're dating Eddy? Is that true? Eddy's a great guy, you can trust him."
Mentioning Eddy made Calliope's innocent face blush. She felt a bit embarrassed.
She quickly said, "Nothing's happened yet!"
From the front seat, Brady chimed in, "Eddy's a good guy, Calliope. Make sure you seize the opportunity."
Calliope's face turned even redder.
Luckily, Eddy hadn't come along; he was dealing with workers.
If he were here, Calliope would probably want to disappear.
"Brady, stop teasing me."
"I'm not teasing. Violet and I are serious," Brady said with a smile.
Having known Eddy for years, Brady was well aware of his character.
Honest, kind, brave, smart, responsible, and ambitious—Eddy was a great catch.
Calliope wouldn't regret being with him.
"Yes, Calliope. Brady and I both think Eddy is wonderful. Make sure you seize the opportunity," Violet said, supporting Brady.
Calliope blushed, her heart racing, and nodded shyly.
She knew Eddy was great.
Over the past few months, he had proven to be attentive, caring, and warm.
Brady glanced at the rearview mirror, looking at the person slumped against Calliope's shoulder, and asked formally, "By the way, how's Charlotte doing?"
Calliope quickly looked down at Charlotte, who had her eyes closed but was breathing. "She might have fainted from blood loss."
"There's a button next to you. Press it, and a first aid kit will pop out. Help her with some basic treatment," Brady instructed.
Calliope nodded and started searching for the first aid kit to help Charlotte.
Violet felt a bit uneasy.
Did Brady not know Charlotte was from the Devereux family? Or did he know and just didn't care?
The more Violet thought about it, the more uncomfortable she felt.
While Calliope treated Charlotte's wounds, Violet leaned back in her seat, staying silent.
Charlotte, who was pretending to be unconscious, had heard their entire conversation.
So, Violet was pregnant again?
This was a perfect opportunity.
A pregnant woman couldn't satisfy a man's sexual needs.
She couldn't believe that Brady, at his age, could go more than half a year without sex.
She was determined to seize this golden opportunity to get into his bed.
