Chapter 838 Without Facing Setbacks, Darian Won't Give Up

Darian had just returned to his studio after finishing his surveillance.
As soon as he stepped inside, his assistant rushed over. "Darian, there's something I need to tell you."
"What's up?" Darian asked, walking.
"Mr. Hall went to see your mentor, Jade," the assistant relayed.
Darian paused for a moment, then let out a contemptuous laugh. "He's really that paranoid about me? He even tracked down Jade?"
"I don't think Mr. Hall knows you're Jade's last and most important disciple. He must be trying to get Jade to push you out," the assistant speculated.
"I know," Darian replied.
But no one could persuade Jade to act against him. Even if they could, Jade would be on Darian's side, not Mr. Hall's.
"So, are we just going to let Mr. Hall go to Jade?" The assistant was worried that Brady might somehow win Jade over, which could completely suppress Darian.
Although he knew Darian shouldn't provoke Brady, he instinctively didn't want Brady to win Jade over.
"Jade won't act so easily," Darian said confidently. Even if Darian invited her, she might not be willing to come out.
"Maybe you should stop provoking Mrs. Hall? Otherwise, Mr. Hall won't let this go," the assistant sighed, trying to persuade him again. He didn't want Darian to be so stubborn.
But without facing setbacks, Darian wouldn't give up. So what should he do?
"Shut up. Do you think I'm inferior to him or that I'm not capable?" Darian hated being compared to Brady.
What did Brady have? Just some money? He would earn that too, eventually.
The assistant didn't think that was the issue; he just didn't want Darian to provoke Brady. "That's not what I meant, I just..."
"Enough. My business is none of your concern. Just do your job," Darian snapped, striding towards his office.
Once in his office, Darian sat in his leather chair, staring at the pile of design drafts on his desk. He had been too angry with his assistant to think clearly about the situation.
Brady had found Jade and was likely trying to get her to suppress him, to make him leave Violet's side.
But Darian wouldn't let that happen.
His eyes darkened as he picked up his phone and texted another assistant, instructing him to fly to Stag Mountain immediately and bring Jade to him by any means necessary, even if it meant tying her up or knocking her out.
He couldn't let Brady find her.
After giving these instructions, Darian called Max to inform him that he would be moving his operations to JK that afternoon.
Max was surprised by the call but welcomed him enthusiastically.
After hanging up, Max quickly arranged for the administrative staff to prepare the office next to his for Darian.
At the Stag Mountain lodge, Brady and Eddy had finished discussing Jade and returned to the lodge to rest. Brady planned to visit Jade the next day.
However, while they were resting, Darian's team was already on a plane, heading to Stag Mountain to find Jade first.
