Chapter 926 Get Lost! I Have a Husband
The burly henchman yanked Julie aside, forcing her down until she was kneeling on the speedboat's deck. "Our target is you, not her."
Julie pleaded, her eyes red and her voice breaking with sorrow. "But they've been in the water for a long time. If you're gonna kill me, just do it. Please, let Violet go."
Violet had risked everything to follow her and save her. If something happened to Violet, Brady would never forgive her.
"Shut up!" The henchman snapped, irritated by her crying. "Killing you is inevitable, but stop crying. I can't stand it when women cry."
Julie couldn't help but worry about Violet, tears streaming down her face.
If something happened to Violet, she felt she could never make up for it, even if she died a hundred times. "Then just kill me already."
Suddenly, the calm sea surface was shattered by a loud splash. Julie and the henchman turned around instantly.
Under the cold moonlight, they saw the fierce man, Miles, emerging from the water, dragging an unconscious Violet with one hand.
So, she was a step behind him.
Although Violet had tried to kill him earlier, Miles was furious but had no intention of killing her.
He was wary of Brady. Once he dealt with Julie, he would send Violet away.
Miles quickly climbed onto the speedboat, pulling the unconscious Violet with him.
On the boat, Miles wiped the water from his face and unceremoniously dropped Violet onto the deck.
He looked at Julie, whose eyes were red from crying, and coldly ordered, "Do you know how to perform CPR?"
Julie was stunned, then shook her head.
She and the servants on the island were all good swimmers, so they had never needed to learn CPR. "I don't know how."
Miles frowned, looking impatiently between Julie and Violet.
The cold moonlight made Violet's face look deathly pale, as if she had stopped breathing.
Miles was silent for a few seconds, then crouched down and gently placed his fingers under Violet's nose.
There was a faint breath. But it was very weak, and she could stop breathing at any moment.
However, Miles had no intention of taking Brady's woman. At least for now, he had no inappropriate thoughts about Violet.
Withdrawing his fingers, he met Julie's tear-swollen eyes and said, "Do as I say and give her CPR, or she might die."
Julie seemed to understand something and, even though he was trying to kill her, nodded frantically. "Teach me quickly, I need to save her."
"First, press on her chest for CPR, then give her mouth-to-mouth resuscitation." Miles looked at the unconscious woman under the moonlight, his voice cold and devoid of emotion.
Julie memorized his instructions and earnestly tried to perform CPR and mouth-to-mouth resuscitation on Violet. However, her technique was not very professional.
After a long time, Violet still hadn't woken up.
Miles glanced at the still-pale woman, considering that he didn't need to provoke Brady.
After a few seconds of thought, he pushed Julie aside without any gentleness and prepared to give Violet CPR himself.
Just as he leaned down to give Violet mouth-to-mouth, Violet finally woke up.
Seeing Miles about to kiss her, she instinctively slapped him hard.
Then, as fresh air filled her lungs, she turned to the side, coughed up some water, and said hoarsely, "Get away from me! I have a husband!"
