Chapter 631 A Solemn Apology

Violet didn't mind Lilian's spoiled attitude. After all, Lilian couldn't do much now. With a calm smile, she said, "Go ahead and try. I'm here to settle old scores and the new one about my mom's photos."

"What do your mom's photos have to do with me?" Lilian snapped, instantly agitated.

"Of course, it has everything to do with you. Mr. White already told my husband it was all your doing," Violet replied coldly, her lips curling slightly.

'So, it was Aiden who sold me out,' Lilian thought, her face darkening. She clenched her fists and took a few steps toward Violet, ready to fight. But before she could get close, a bodyguard stepped in, shoving her back forcefully.

"Stay away from Mrs. Hall, or you'll regret it," the bodyguard warned protectively.

Lilian stumbled back a few steps, her fists tightening even more. Her pretty face twisted in anger as she snarled, "Violet, don't get cocky. You're just using a man to throw your weight around. What can you even do on your own?"

"What I can or can't do isn't the point," Violet replied coldly. "I want you on your knees, apologizing for what you did to my mom." She held Lilian's gaze steadily, knowing full well her sister would never willingly apologize.

If that was the case, Violet had no choice but to send Lilian to jail.

"Apologize?" Lilian scoffed, laughing exaggeratedly, her face contorting with the effort. She remembered the last time she had to apologize to Violet, only because their father was present. But this time, with no father around, she had no intention of apologizing.

"Let me tell you something, Violet. Your mom was just a whore. What are you bragging about? Do you think the Hall family will keep you around forever? Just wait, they'll kick you out eventually!" Lilian finished, laughing triumphantly.

A flicker of anger ignited in Violet's eyes as she watched Lilian laugh. "Alright then, I'll have someone take you to the police station," she said coldly.

"Why the police station?" Lilian's laughter died instantly, her face tightening as she stared at Violet.

"What else? You deserve it," Violet replied, standing up from the couch, ready to leave.

Whether or not she got an apology, Violet was determined to send Lilian to jail.

"You can't send me there," Lilian protested, her face tense as she glared at Violet.

"With all the evidence, you'll be in jail for at least a year," Violet said calmly, picking up her bag and heading for the door.

The bodyguards moved to grab Lilian, ready to take her to the police station.

Seeing their serious demeanor, Lilian panicked, struggling violently. "Let me go!" she shouted.

The bodyguards didn't let go, dragging her towards the door.

As they passed Violet, Lilian, terrified of going to jail, grabbed Violet's hand and knelt down in front of everyone.

"Sis, I'm sorry. Please don't send me to jail," Lilian pleaded, shaking Violet's hand desperately.

Violet knew Lilian was only apologizing out of fear, not sincerity.

So, Violet had no intention of letting her off the hook.

But before sending her to jail, Violet said, ""I'll consider it, but it depends on how genuine you're being."

"I'll do whatever it takes," Lilian pleaded, looking up with desperate eyes.

She was truly afraid of jail. She loved her freedom too much.

"Alright, then apologize to me and my mom sincerely, right here," Violet said, pulling out her phone to record the apology.
