"If you don't come down, I'll have to come upstairs to find you."
Ivan's voice carried a hint of mischief.
"Don't come up!"
Camilla quickly stopped him.
She had been very stern when scolding Nicole during the day, and now here she was, being sought out by Ivan in the middle of the night. How could she have any authority in front of Nicole in the future?
"I'll change my clothes and come down in five minutes."
Camilla hung up the phone and changed into a loose gray tracksuit, wrapping herself up tightly.
The temperature was slightly lower on this late spring night. A breeze messed up Camilla's freshly dried hair, which covered half of her face, leaving only a pair of bright, cool eyes visible.
Ivan just stood there quietly, watching her get closer. When she was three steps away from him, Camilla stopped.
He took a step forward, closing the distance to just one step between them.
"Mr. Winston, what exactly do you want from me?"
Camilla's voice carried a hint of irritation.
For the past three years, she had been calm and composed. But Ivan's appearance made her feel increasingly uncontrollable.
This feeling made her a bit uneasy. But she had to admit, when she saw Ivan downstairs, she felt a bit of joy, which she shouldn't be feeling.
"Haley, don't you want to see me?" Ivan looked at her and said softly.
For some reason, Camilla detected a hint of resentment in his voice. For a man like Ivan to speak in such a tone.
Camilla tugged at the corner of her lips. "Mr. Winston, this is only the few times we've met. Why would I want to see you?"
"You're being dishonest." Ivan moved a bit closer. "From your eyes, I could tell you were pleased to see me."
Camilla lowered her eyes to hide her emotions.
She always thought she could control her emotions in front of anyone, but she had overestimated herself.
In front of Ivan, she could surrender at any moment.
Camilla took a step back and said calmly, "Mr. Winston, you didn't come over in the middle of the night just to say these few ordinary words, did you?"
"I want to invite you to the Winston family tomorrow." Ivan looked at her quietly. "You need to come in person to prove my sincerity."
Camilla frowned. "Is there a party at the Winston family tomorrow?"
"You're the only guest." Ivan said each word clearly. "My children are looking forward to your visit."
Ivan's children? Camilla's heart suddenly skipped a beat.
When Micah mentioned it during the day, she was already looking forward to meeting the Winston family's children.
Besides Angela, there were three boys.
According to news, the three boys of the Winston family were very intelligent, especially Keith, who had already taken over a company under the Winston Group at the age of three.
Camilla was very curious about them.
"Alright, what time tomorrow?" Camilla asked.
Ivan instantly relaxed, and he curved his thin lips into a smile. "Tomorrow at noon. I look forward to your visit."
If it were at night, Camilla might still suspect he had ulterior motives. But he chose noon, completely dispelling her doubts.
"Alright, I'll be at The Winston Villa on time."
