"Thomas." A stern voice interrupted his attempt to hang up. "I heard you know some people in the underworld?"
"No!" Thomas denied without thinking. "I'm the future heir of the Ellenstein family. How could I be involved with the underworld? Dad, I may be rebellious, but I'm not that reckless. Don't be fooled by others."
"Alright, I know what you're like," Thomas's father said coldly. "The Black Gang in the ungoverned zone has a new leader and plans to do the business in right way. They have extensive connections and resources. If we can establish a partnership with them, it would be a great opportunity for the Ellenstein Group. If your friends can connect us with the Black Gang, bring them to see me. There will be benefits for you."
"So that's what it's about." Thomas sighed in relief. "Don't worry, Dad. I'll introduce some friends to you."
He had indeed met some locals during a trip to the no-man's land with friends.
