Chapter 544
His eyes darkened for a moment.
"I found a designer," Haley spoke softly, "He said he could help me turn this letter into a word with an 'I'. What word do you think is better for a tattoo?"
"Ivan," his voice hoarse, "Ivan, my name."
"Okay, good choice."
Haley's voice was gentle as she wrapped her arms around the man's neck and offered her red lips.
The two entwined intimately, and had a orgasm at the same time.
"I'll carry you to the bath."
Ivan lifted Haley and walked towards the bathroom.
Having already done the most intimate things, Haley didn’t reject him.
Just as they reached the bathroom door, the man suddenly stopped in his tracks.
"What's wrong?"
Haley looked up to see Ivan tightly closing his eyes, veins bulging on his forehead.
Startled, she quickly jumped out of his arms and nervously asked, "Are you feeling unwell?"
"My head hurts a bit." Ivan held his temple. "The doctor prescribed me some medicine, it's in the left drawer, can you get me the pills?"
Haley hurried to get the medicine and also brought a glass of warm water.
After Ivan took the pills, she said, "I think you should stay in the hospital for more days."
Lying on the bed, Ivan looked at the woman's face, his voice soft. "Our wedding is just around the corner, this is the most important day of our lives. How can I lie in the hospital waiting for this day to come? I need to get ready for it."
"Except for trying on the suit, there's nothing else you need to prepare personally." Haley strongly disagreed.
On the first day out of the hospital, he felt unwell several times. She was really worried.
"Don't worry, I'm fine." Ivan pulled her into his arms. "Let’s go try it together tomorrow, okay?”
Haley nodded gently.
That night, the starlight was gentle, and the night was romantic.
The next morning, Haley was awakened by the knocking of several children.
She glanced at the man beside her, it was so noisy outside, yet he could still sleep so soundly.
But considering this man had a headache last night, it was reasonable for him to sleep a little longer.
She carefully got up, changed into a new outfit, and then opened the door and walked out. "Keep it down, your dad is still sleeping."
The eyes of several children were like searchlights, scanning Haley from head to toe.
"Mommy, there's a red mark on your neck, did dad do that?" Owen widened his eyes and said angrily.
Haley quickly pulled up her collar, cursing Ivan in her heart.
She had told him many times last night not to leave any marks on her body, but this man just wouldn't listen, repeatedly kissing her neck.
And now, the children saw the marks.
"It has nothing to do with your dad..." Haley had never been so embarrassed, stammering as she explained, "It was some mosquito. Yes, there were many mosquitoes in the room."
Todd squinted his eyes. Having lived with mommy for four years, he could tell when mommy was lying at a glance.
He couldn’t figure out why she had lied.
He pursed his lips and remained silent.
"I'm hungry, let's go have breakfast!" Haley quickly changed the subject and led the four children to the restaurant.
As soon as she saw the dishes on the table, she was dumbfounded.
Deer antler soup, turtle soup, bullwhip soup... and various aphrodisiac foods, laid out on a full table.
