If the news was true, it meant that Ivan had returned to Watertown yesterday but didn't go home; instead, he went to a bar to dance with a woman.
One photo couldn't prove that Ivan had betrayed her, and the Ivan she knew would never do such a thing.
She could understand Ivan's sudden coldness and distance, but she found it hard to believe that the Ivan she had known for over twenty years would suddenly start going to bars.
Or perhaps, the Ivan she knew before was just pretending.
