"Were they Mr. Winston and Mrs. Winston?"

A group of men in their forties and fifties took Martin to the lounge area to discuss business matters.
Haley smiled as she scanned the room slowly.
She was looking for Louis and Martin.
During the time after Ivan's marriage, they had visited the Winston Group twice and played pool with Ivan twice.
She wanted to ask them if they had noticed anything different about Ivan.
"What are you looking for?"
A teasing voice came from behind.
Haley turned around and saw Ava approaching with a glass of wine.Her expression was proud and disdainful.
"You seem a bit worn out." Ava chuckled. "Is your married life not harmonious, causing you to lose sleep from arguing every day?"
Haley looked at her calmly. "Is it part of your upbringing to casually gossip about other people's married lives?"
"Ivan is flirting around outside, why are you still able to laugh?" Ava sneered. "Although you are the young lady of the Winston family, everyone in Watertown knows that just after your wedding, your husband found another woman. You think you're above everyone,, but in reality, you're just a joke to everyone."
"Ms. Evans, have you forgotten that that you still have a project under my control?" Haley swirled her glass of red wine, "If I tear up the contract, you won't be able to report the results to Vanguard Corporation within the specified period. By then, the Lumi Group will need to compensate at least fifty million dollars. Can you afford this loss?"
Ava stomped her foot in anger. "Are you threatening me?"
"You can mock me. So, why can't I threaten you" Haley sneered. "If I'm not not happy, I can terminate this project at any time. The penalty for breach of contract means nothing to me. But you are not part of the Lumi Family. If you make the Lumi Family compensate so much, then the Lumi Family won't tolerate you!"
