Camilla raised her voice. Celeste immediately recognized Camilla.
She had a particularly deep impression of someone like Camilla, who was obviously wealthy.
Celeste wanted to speak, but couldn't utter a single word. She had cried for so long that her voice was hoarse.
If it weren't for Cherry shielding her at the last moment, it would be her lying in the ICU now.

After explaining her purpose, the doctor immediately arranged for a nurse to draw her blood.
It would take twenty minutes to get the results. Camilla walked to the hallway and sat down next to Celeste.
Celeste saw her pressing a disinfectant swab on her wrist. Celeste asked in surprise, "Miss Jenkins, what are you doing?"
"Just trying, what if it matches?" Camilla leaned against the chair and softly said, "You've spent a lot of money to save Cherry, haven't you?"
Celeste shook her head. "Money is secondary; as long as Cherry gets better, that's all that matters."
Camilla didn't know what to say. She suddenly felt a bit terrible that she actually hoped Celeste would give up on Cherry at this moment.
That way, she could rightfully take care of Cherry.
"The doctor said if we can't find a matching blood type soon, Cherry might not make it."
Celeste's tears started falling again. She was under a lot of pressure too. Unable to have children, she had finally convinced her family to adopt Cherry. But not long after, Cherry had an accident.

"Your blood is a match for Cherry's," the nurse said excitedly, "Cherry is saved!"
It turned out Cherry's full name was Rebecca Hernandez, which Camilla thought didn't sound nice.
But since it was given by Cherry's adoptive parents, she had no right to criticize.
Camilla followed the nurse into the blood draw room, and let the nurse draw 400 milliliters of blood.
Her face quickly turned pale, as if all the blood had been drained from her.
