Chapter 1030

Ivan finished speaking, lowered his head, and kissed Camilla on the lips, then trailed his lips down her earlobe, neck, and chest.

He possessed her recklessly, but she did not resist at all. As they intertwined closely, the thick fog turned blood-red.

"Mom, Mom." A child shouted loudly. The voice was shrill and terrified.

"Child! My child!" Camilla screamed in despair. She reached out to grab the child who drifted further away, slowly disappearing into the blood-red fog.

"Camilla, Camilla!" Micah called her name, shaking her body vigorously.

Camilla suddenly opened her eyes and sat up.

She looked at Micah and Nicole standing by her bed, then turned her head to the slightly bright window.

It was just a dream.

"Camilla, what kind of nightmare did you have to be so scared?" Micah handed her a dry towel. "I heard you shouting about a child. Did you dream of a child?"

Camilla wiped the sweat from her hair with the towel, her gaze unfocused. "I dreamed of a child covered in blood calling me mom."

Nicole, standing nearby, suddenly shivered. Camilla's child, the one who died prematurely due to a full-body blood transfusion.

Nicole was still in the hospital's intensive care unit at that time. She hadn't experienced the child's death, so she never thought much about it.

How could Camilla, who didn't know about the child, dream of a child covered in blood? Could it be that the child's soul had returned?

Thinking of this, Nicole shuddered.

"Don't be afraid, it's just a dream," Micah comforted. "It's only five in the morning. Sleep for another two hours."

He turned to pour Camilla a glass of warm water, then led Nicole out of the room.

Camilla's head hurt a bit, and the image of the child kept appearing in her mind. She finally fell asleep again, only to be woken by the noise outside.

She rubbed her hair and got up, finding Nicole there.

Nicole was chatting on Facebook while blow-drying her hair. When a message came through, she turned off the hairdryer and listened intently to the man on the other end.

"Two o'clock in the afternoon, at Diamond Mall. Do you have time?"

The man's gentle voice from the phone sounded familiar to Camilla, but she couldn't recall who it was.

"Of course, I have time," Nicole said excitedly, blinking. "Today, don't buy me anything. See you in the afternoon."

She turned off the phone and found Camilla standing by the doorframe, silently watching her.

Nicole broke into a cold sweat. "Camilla, you came out so quietly. You scared me to death."

"Looks like this man is quite wealthy," Camilla said sarcastically.

Diamond Mall was full of top international brands, it was said that only members could enter. The membership requirement was to have at least ten million dollars in cash in the account.

A shopping card with a ten million dollar deposit was not something an ordinary person could get.

"He really is rich. His expensive clothes are all custom-made abroad," Nicole said, then paused. "But I'm not with him for his money. Even if he were poor, I would still like him. Don't insult me!"

She continued to style her hair.

Camilla shook her head and turned back to her room to wash up and put on makeup. By the time she finished and went out, Nicole had already left.

It was eleven-thirty in the morning. Nicole had left more than two hours early for a two o'clock appointment.

Camilla smirked, grabbed her purse, and headed out.

Just as she was about to hail a cab, a black car elegantly and discreetly stopped in front of her.
