Chapter275 Stay Away From My Sister

Todd quickly positioned himself between Angela and the rest of the room.

His icy gaze fixed unapologetically on Keith. He had been to the Winston residence many times, but this was the first time he had crossed paths with Keith.

Had he known Keith would be home today, he never would have left his sister alone at the Winston residence.

Keith looked up, his eyes calmly meeting Todd's.

Their gazes locked, an unspoken challenge crackling between them.

"Come here, Angela, and let me take care of you. How did your delicate wrist get so red? It breaks my heart to see you hurt like this." Alfred approached with the first-aid kit, easing the tension in the room.

Ivan lifted Angela and seated her on a nearby couch, tenderly treating her wrist with the care of a doting parent.

Todd's fists clenched.

There was always time for a paternity test, but leaving his sister alone was a mistake. She had been hurt because of it.

"Stay away from my sister from now on."

Todd's words were deliberate, frost edging his tone.

Keith quirked an eyebrow indifferently. "You have your life, and Angela has hers. You have no right to stop her from seeing me."

"You have no right to see my sister," Todd said in a low growl. "You're Emily's son, and your closeness to her must be some twisted way of getting back at me for Emily's sake. I won't let you succeed!"

Keith's brow furrowed. "What does being Emily's son have to do with this?"

Todd's heart sank.

He had only been probing, yet Keith had all but admitted it.

It meant Angela was telling the truth. Owen and Keith were Emily's sons.

Emily's actions plunged her own mother into an abyss of despair five years ago.

Five years later, it seemed like Emily's son poised to harm Angela.

Owen was hardly a concern, but Keith was unfathomable.

Todd strode toward Angela and took the little girl's tender hand with a chilling voice that fought to stay calm. "Angela, let's go home."

Applying first aid, Ivan paused mid-action. "I'll drive you back after dinner."

"We're leaving now. There's no need for a ride."

A resolute certainty underlined Todd's words, allowing no room for debate.

Ivan pressed his temples with a hint of a headache forming.

He could manage the situation when it was just Owen and Angela.

Things spiraled out of control when Keith came home, but distracting Owen kept it manageable.

But with Todd's return, the dynamics changed abruptly.

He had authority over Owen and Keith, but not over Todd, who wasn't his son.

Indeed, Angela had gotten hurt amid the Winston family's troubles.

It was no wonder that most families opt for just two children. Adding one more could upend everything, let alone four.

After finishing the ointment, Ivan asked gently, "Angela, do you want to go home?"
