Back in the master bedroom, Ivan still had his eyes closed.
Haley massaged his temples with essential oil, quietly staying by his side.
It wasn't until eleven at night that Ivan slowly opened his eyes.
"Haley, I remember everything now, from when I was three years old to the day I was kidnapped a month ago," Ivan said, holding her hand, "I finally know how we met."
Haley touched the back of his head, "Does your head still hurt?"

"That's great," Haley said, feeling happy for him, "Then you should deal with those jerks from the Winston Group as soon as possible. I still feel uneasy."
Especially today, the look in Martin's eyes on the surveillance had left her feeling a bit unsettled.
Haley always felt that Martin wouldn't give up so easily.
"Haley, the Winston Group not much matters. The cold winter wind blew in. Even in a bathrobe, Ivan felt the chill, let alone Haley, who was only wearing a thin nightgown.
Ivan strode over, "Haley, what are you doing?"
Haley stood dazed on the balcony, her eyes unfocused.
She looked down at the cars parked in the yard, dim lights illuminating the green trees.
Suddenly, a voice echoed in her mind.
"Jump!"
