Chapter 43 The Beautiful Ms. DeRoss
“I am part of the Martínez family. I am the marketing manager. Who dares to say anything?” Barbara snapped back angrily.
Haley calmly said, “Of course, I won’t say anything. I just think it’s better to do some research before questioning others. Uncle, the launch is about to start. Let’s go out.”
Steven nodded and led Haley towards the venue of the launch. Barbara kicked the table out of anger, but it was too hard, and her toes hurt, almost to the point of falling off. The Martínez Group had added a gimmick to this product launch, using a new concept for smart products to attract many people.
Even Keith, who had just arrived in Cuenca last night and hadn’t even adjusted to the time difference, decided to attend the launch first. With the smart market thriving, the Winston Group also planned to invest in this industry, so Keith wanted to see how other companies were playing the game.
With his assistant holding the invitation, he entered the venue and sat in the last row. Just as they sat down, Haley appeared in the spotlight with Steven. Under countless flashes, Haley’s skin shone brilliantly, making her seem as if she emitted light. Keith immediately noticed her.

“Ms. DeRoss, you used to be the successor of the DeRoss Group, but now you no longer belong to the DeRoss family. Can you share the reason with us?”
“Ms. DeRoss...” the questions continued.
Haley smiled slightly. She picked up the nearest microphone and said calmly, “Hello, my journalist friends. I am Haley, the chip designer of the Martínez Group’s new product. The integrated chip embedded in this smart product was personally designed by me. This chip integrates the traditional integrated circuit model and builds upon it.”
Her voice echoed in the venue. The dry, professional knowledge, flowed out of her mouth, making people inexplicably want to listen carefully. Even some female reporters, who were not interested in technology, could roughly understand the operating concept of this new product.
“This smart product aims to make our lives more convenient. In the future, the Martínez Group will continuously update the chips to allow everyone to fully experience the convenience brought by the internet era.”
Haley smiled, “This smart robot will be launched in a week, and we are recruiting channel partners. You are welcome to contact the marketing department of the Martínez Group. Thank you, everyone.”
She put down the microphone and bowed to everyone present. The venue erupted with thunderous applause. Keith did not applaud. He squinted his eyes and scrutinized Haley with sharp eyes.
