Sterling responded, his tone equally chilly. "The announcement from Vanguard Corporation stands. The decision is final."
"Excellent! Just excellent!" Hollis's smile was laced with disdain, her face a mask of scorn.
The people present were all confused and needed to learn what kind of play was being performed.
"Haley, this is the confrontation between you and her," Louis whispered near Haley's ear, looking like he was enjoying the show.
Haley took a sip of her wine and said calmly, "I don't think this matter has anything to do with me."
