Chapter 467

Two bodyguards were waiting outside the building.

Ivan threw the doctor over and coldly said, "Find a laboratory for him and keep him locked up for a month."

The two bodyguards covered his mouth as the doctor begged for mercy and dragged him away.

Haley tightened her lips and asked, "He's Sterling's person. You said Sterling is a dangerous man. If we mess with him, will he cause trouble for you?"

"I'm afraid he won't come. As long as he comes, I have plenty of ways to deal with him."
Ivan's eyes were filled with gloom.

Father's death was a hurdle he couldn't overcome for so many years.

Martin wanted to make a move on the woman Ivan loved the most, leaving a mark on her. This was something he absolutely couldn't tolerate.

As long as Martin dared to step foot in Watertown again, Ivan would ensure he knew what it meant to beat a fallen dog.

Haley looked at Ivan's gloomy expression and said softly, "Mr. Winston, thank you for today."

If he hadn't come to find her, perhaps she would have encountered something even more terrible.

Hearing her voice, Ivan's gloom disappeared from his face, and he finally pulled himself out of that emotional state.

He pursed his lips and said, "Let's go. I'll take you to the hospital for a check-up."

Haley glanced at her watch and said calmly, "It's getting late. I have to pick up the kids from preschool. I'll go there first."

"Get in my car."

Ivan opened the car door.

Haley ruffled her hair and said, "I drove here myself, so I'll just drive my car."

"Get in the car." Ivan's tone was commanding and unquestionable. "You just inhaled some unknown substance and have been unconscious for so long. I don't think you can drive."

Haley looked at him for a few seconds, then reluctantly sat in the passenger seat.

Thinking that her personality was also quite strong, she actually didn't like this domineering man very much.

But for some reason, her heart rate slightly increased when Ivan gave the domineering command to get in the car just now.

Was this the feeling of being moved?

Haley sat in the car, but suddenly, the car stopped on the side of the road. Ivan unbuckled his seatbelt and said in a low voice, "Wait for me for three minutes."

He opened the car door and quickly entered a shopping mall.

Haley's head was indeed a little dizzy, perhaps due to the lingering effects of the medication.

Just as she was about to close her eyes and rest, Ivan returned, holding a light pink silk scarf in his hand.

"Here, let me tie it for you."

Haley paused for a moment.

She instantly understood why he was doing this.

The tattoo on her collarbone hadn't healed yet, and Todd and Angela would definitely ask why.

Todd was so clever that if she lied, she would be exposed. It was better to use the scarf to cover up this tattoo.

Haley felt complicated in her heart. "Mr. Winston, thank you."

Ivan looked at her seriously. "I don't think our relationship is so distant that you can only call me Mr. Winston. What do you think, Haley?"

Under his gaze, Haley felt her heart beating uncontrollably.

That "Haley" sounded like an electric shock, accelerating her heartbeat...

She hurriedly looked away and said dryly, "We agreed last time that I would call you Ivan, but I'm still not used to it, so I might call you the wrong name sometimes. If I do, please remind me."

Ivan was finally satisfied.

He started the engine and drove slowly toward the preschool.

Just as they arrived, the school bell rang, and the happy voices of children filled the air like the purest notes in the world.
