chapter 268 Who Came Up with This Formula?

The old topic resurfaced because of the new hire, who was a reputedly outstanding chip designer.

However, Anderson had yet to meet this legendary figure.

However, Anderson had met Nolan from Star Tech a couple of times. Not only was the woman incredibly beautiful, but she also oozed confidence.

However, confidence alone did not guarantee results in the world of programming and software.

Anderson wasn't keen on wasting his time with this project, but Ivan had put it in his hands, and he needed to pay attention to it.

Just then, a group approached.

Two assistants in black surrounded a child, about four or five years old, who now stood at the office door.

Anderson's face lit up at the sight of Keith.

He had been with Ivan for over a decade, so he was privy to the Winston family's matters.

He never got a direct confirmation, but he had a strong hunch that this kid was Ivan's son.

The young Winston appearing in his office like this could only mean something significant.
This gave him a perfect excuse to skip the project review.

With that thought, Anderson turned to Noah and said, "Noah, I handed the A-F project over to you. You run the meeting. Only call me if any issues arise."

Noah was only an Assistant Tech Director and didn't know Keith.

Keith exuded an aura of authority as he entered the room, flanked by two bodyguards. Even Anderson treated the boy with an unusual level of respect. It didn't take a genius for anyone to figure out this kid must be someone important.

He nodded and said, "All right, I'll be there."

Holding a stack of documents, Noah made his way to the conference room.

"Mr. Keith, please have a seat," Mr. Anderson said, gesturing to a chair as his assistant poured a cup of coffee deferentially. "May I inquire what brings you here today?"

Keith raised a hand, and Russell, standing behind him, produced a notebook.

Keith flipped open the notebook, pointing to a formula, and asked, "Mr. Anderson, could you explain this programming formula to me?"

Mr. Anderson scrutinized the formula momentarily, his brow furrowing in surprise. "Mathematical formulas in programming have specific structures, and this script seems off. Mr. Keith, where did you get this?"

Keith's gaze sharpened. "Mr. Anderson, are you not familiar with this formula?"

Meeting Keith's intense stare, Anderson found himself tongue-tied.

He could tell that Keith had come specifically for this formula.

Having experienced Keith's brilliance first-hand a year ago when the youngster effortlessly hacked into an international dark net using the computer in his office, Anderson was still astounded at the thought. Keith had a keen interest in programming and an apparent knack for it. He wouldn't be here with an incorrect formula without reason.

"I've... I've seen it," Anderson stammered, quickly changing his tune. "I've seen it once, though I can't recall when. Let me check again..."

Keith sat opposite him, his voice calm. "I'm trying to deduce the original version of this formula, but it's got me stumped. I was hoping you could help me figure it out..."

"I'll give it a try..."

Anderson, wiping the sweat from his forehead, began calculating furiously on a piece of scratch paper.

Half an hour later, Keith glanced at the scratch paper and inquired indifferently, "Mr. Anderson, who came up with this formula? Just have them come here directly."
