Chapter 499
Haley's eyes narrowed suddenly, she kicked the steel pipe on the ground and held it as a weapon.
She thought it was Martin's men coming, but when she saw two children appearing at the warehouse door, she breathed a sigh of relief.
Then, a serious expression appeared on her cold face: "How did you two come here?"
"Mommy, you're okay, that's great!"
Todd rushed over and hugged Haley's waist.
On his slightly mature face, there was worry and relief.
Haley's heart softened. "Todd, Mommy is fine. Nothing will happen. Don't worry."
Todd hugged her, silent and gloomy.
Keith walked over, pursed his pink lips and said softly, "Todd felt that something happened to Mommy and Daddy, so he checked your location, luckily nothing serious happened."
Haley said sternly, "Don't do this again in the future, you two children, how can you run out of the house late at night? I know you are smart, but even the smartest person would be helpless against extremely evil people."
Todd regained his composure and raised his little face, saying, "Mommy, we didn't come out alone, we brought a few bodyguards."
Haley looked over and indeed saw four tall and strong bodyguards standing beside the car.
"Is Daddy okay?" Keith looked at the unconscious Ivan and asked softly.
Haley was relieved that these two kids hadn't forgotten their own father.
She pretended to be relaxed and said, "Your daddy just has some minor external injuries, nothing serious. Keith, let the bodyguards come and help carry your daddy into the car."
The four bodyguards walked in from the warehouse door and carefully carried Ivan out.
When they reached the door, Haley stopped and looked back.
The office was less than a hundred meters southwest of the warehouse, where she had knocked out Martin, who should still be in that office.
She hesitated for less than a second and said coldly, "You two go to that room, there's a man unconscious, tie him up and take him with you."
The two bodyguards obeyed and immediately went to find the person.
Three minutes later, the two bodyguards returned, "Haley, there's no one in that room."
Haley furrowed her brows.
It seemed that Martin had already escaped.
She didn't know what deep hatred existed between this person and Ivan. Her only concern now was that Martin might target the children again.
She pursed her lips and said, "Let's go to the hospital first."
The bodyguards drove to the private hospital that Winston Group had invested in.
Haley led the two children out of the car and said softly, "Keith, Todd, you go back with the bodyguards to the Winston family. I'll stay at the hospital with your daddy tonight."
"No!"
Todd refused without hesitation. He wanted to stay with Haley and protect her so as to not let her be in any danger again.
Haley understood his thoughts, she touched her son's soft hair and said softly, "Leave two bodyguards to protect me from the four you brought. I'll be fine. And Todd, you have to go back to take care of your sister for me. If you stay in the hospital, Angela will be scared and cry if she can't find me or her brother, right? Todd, be good, go back with Keith to accompany little Angela, okay?"
Todd pursed his lips and nodded after a long time. "Then, I'll come find you tomorrow morning."
Haley looked at Keith again and said softly, "Keith, can you take care of your younger brother and sister instead of Mommy tonight?"
Keith nodded vigorously. "I can, Mommy. Also, I won't tell my sister about Daddy's injury, don't worry."
"You're really good."
Haley patted each of her sons' heads and then instructed the bodyguards to take the two children back to the Winston family.
