Chapter 47 Saved!
The four burly men pushed the wheelchair out. As soon as they opened the door of the conference room, they saw several security guards coming towards them in the hallway.
"Who are you guys?" The security captain walked over with a baton in his hand.
The leader of the men calmly said, "This is our young miss, she injured her leg, and we're taking her back."
Haley wanted to speak, but her mouth was stuffed with something, she couldn't say a word.
She wanted to struggle and cause a commotion, but she realized that all her bones were weak, and she couldn't move even a finger. However, this was her only chance! She tried to flip over, and get off the wheelchair, but was held down by the big man's shoulder.
The big man remained calm, saying, "If there's nothing else, we'll leave first."
The security captain didn't notice anything wrong and let them pass. Haley's heart plummeted into the abyss of despair.
"Stop." Just then, a cold child's voice sounded.
Keith walked out from behind the security guard. He specifically went to find the security guard, but these useless idiots didn't do anything, so he had to handle it himself. He walked over coldly and reached up to remove the hat from Haley's head.
The burly man grabbed his hand and coldly said, "Kid, our young miss is of noble status, you can’t touch her.”
Keith, looked up, his eyes filled with coldness. The tall muscular man was frightened by this gaze and let go of his hand. Keith took off Haley's hat. A woman with a cloth stuffed in her mouth appeared in front of everyone, the situation was clear at a glance.
A beam of light suddenly entered, and a child broke into Haley's line of vision like this. She strained to open her eyes wide, looking at the child, murmuring, "Todd..."
How could Todd be here? But he didn't even look at her, and coldly said to the security guard.
"This is deliberate kidnapping; you deal with it." After he finished speaking, he left, leaving only a silhouette behind.
Haley suddenly woke up, startled. This voice wasn't Todd's. But why does this child look so much like Todd? She couldn't think too much, as more than a dozen security guards had already started fighting with the four men.
Although those men were tall, they didn't have any weapons. The security guards easily tied them up with their batons. It was at that moment, Justin hurried over.
"Haley, what happened exactly?"
Haley didn't have the strength to speak and weakly shook her head. The captain of the security guards quickly explained the situation.
"It must be Emily's doing!" Justin's face turned pale with anger. "She keeps plotting against you again and again. Does she think all of us from the Martínez family are dead? Haley, I'll take you to the hospital first. This time, I won't let the DeRoss family get away with it!"
Justin carried Haley into the car and quickly drove to the hospital. Fortunately, she had only taken some fainting medicine and would slowly recover after taking medication. Lying on the hospital bed, Haley's mind kept flashing the face of that child.
If it wasn't for this child today, she would have suffered a terrible fate for sure. It was that child who saved her.
