Chapter 762
Isabella placed her hand on Ivan's arm and said in a husky voice, "No, it's just that you look like someone I know."
Ivan lowered his gaze, withdrew his arm, and avoided Isabella's touch.
"Sorry, I shouldn't do that." Isabella withdrew her gaze and took a sip of her coffee, regaining her composure.
The subsequent conversation went smoothly. They agreed on when to meet, when to take action, and how to transfer power afterward.
"Then, Your Majesty, see you the day after tomorrow. I'll take my leave now." Ivan bowed slightly, put on his mask, and left the opera house.
Isabella stood on the steps, watching his figure slowly disappear at the door. Tears suddenly welled up in her eyes.
She never expected that the new leader of the Black Gang, Leonardo, would look exactly like her deceased husband. The scar on his face was even identical in its depth and direction.
When she was thirty, her husband died protecting her, and the image of him from over a decade ago had remained etched in her mind.
Her husband's face gradually overlapped with Leonardo's face.
After leaving the opera house, Ivan had Jared drive to the largest amusement park in the country.
Ivan opened the door and got out of the car, seeing the gentle and beautiful Haley sitting on a bench, with four innocent children playing around her.
He took off his golden mask, put on a black mask, and walked briskly towards them.
"Daddy's really here!" Owen exclaimed, jumping up and down with joy.
Haley looked over and smiled.
Ivan had called her early in the morning to meet here, and she was a bit worried he wouldn't make it, but he did.
She stood up to greet him, "Did you finish your work?"
Ivan naturally wrapped his arm around her slender waist. "Everything's taken care of. The rest of my time today belongs to you and the kids."
"Daddy, I want a hug!" Angela exclaimed, stretching out her arms and climbing onto Ivan's shoulders.
He lifted Angela and placed her on his neck, and Angela couldn't stop giggling.
"Daddy, let's go to the amusement park!" Owen shouted, running towards the amusement park first.
Keith and Todd also seemed very relaxed, following Owen.
The sight of the family of six drew the attention of many onlookers.
"Sir and madam, you look so happy. How about a photo to remember this moment?" A street photographer approached them.
Haley turned and asked, "Shall we take a photo?"
"Yes!" Angela nodded. "This is my first time traveling abroad with Daddy, Mommy, and my brothers."
"Alright, let's take a photo," Ivan called back his sons, who had run ahead.
Haley and Ivan sat on the bench. Angela and Owen sat on their laps, while Keith and Todd on either side of them.
"Sir, could you take off your mask?" The photographer tried several angles but wasn't satisfied, so he suggested.
