Owen was utterly shocked, and so was Angela.
Todd and Keith remained calm as if they had foreseen the situation.
"In short, Cauth is my biological father, which makes him your grandfather. From now on, you can call him Grandpa," Haley said with a smile.
Owen jumped up high, "Great! I finally have a grandpa!"
He had always disliked Emily and refused to call Carl grandpa.
Owen had met Cauth a few times, who treated Haley well and gave him allowance. He especially cherished the guidance in painting he received from Cauth, feeling like he had a grandfather.
Angela's eyes lit up as well, "I have Mommy, Daddy, three brothers, Grandma, Alfred, and now a grandpa. I am so lucky."
"You also have an uncle," Haley said with a smile.
Todd glanced at Haley, whose smile seemed genuine.
It appeared that Haley had truly accepted the Lumi family, interacting with them willingly.
He was just a bit worried that the Lumi family might be reaching out because of Haley's status.
"Under Daddy's investigation, your grandpa and uncle genuinely care about Mommy. As for the others, you don't need to worry about them," Ivan said calmly, dispelling the last of Todd and Keith's doubts.
Early the next morning, Haley left with the four children.
Ivan handled issues left at Winston Group by Martin, dropping them off at the dress shop entrance before leaving.
As Haley and the four children approached the dress shop, Cauth quickly came out to greet them.
Today, he was wearing a silver-gray tailcoat with a sea-blue bow tie, looking very aristocratic.
"Come in quickly. Your outfits are all very beautiful!" Cauth's voice trembled slightly, clearly nervous.
Owen blinked and asked, "Grandpa, why are you nervous?"
"I'm not nervous at all. Wait!" Cauth's eyes widened. "What did you just call me?"
"I called you Grandpa," Angela tilted her head and said, "You're Mommy's father, so you're our grandpa. What's wrong with that?"
Cauth was both excited and nervous. He looked at Haley and asked, "Haley, did you teach the kids to call me that?"
Haley nodded, "Father, let's go inside first."
Owen calling him Grandpa was hard for Cauth to process, and Haley's father term made him dizzy.
He had always worried that Haley wouldn't accept him with resentment, that she wouldn't acknowledge him as her father. But unexpectedly...
He hadn't expected Haley's admission to come so quickly and suddenly.
"Haley, my daughter."
Cauth responded, but he realized that Haley had already taken the four children into the dress shop.
Owen covered his mouth and giggled, "Grandpa's reaction is as slow as a giraffe's."
Angela blinked, "I think Grandpa is a little cute."
Keith coughed and said, "It's inappropriate to describe elders as 'cute'."
"But the word 'kind' doesn't really fit Grandpa," Todd said calmly, "Cute is fine."
At least Cauth didn't seem to be very shrewd and genuinely treated Haley well.
Cauth quickly caught up and, rubbing his nose, said, "Haley, you walk so fast. I almost couldn't keep up."
