Chapter 45 It’s A Trap!
Keith stood at the end of the corridor with a cold expression on his face. This woman brought disaster to the DeRoss family four years ago, and now she’s targeting the DeRoss family again. It is understandable that his mother wants to teach her a lesson.
There's nothing wrong with mother venting her anger. Hopefully, after this incident, this woman won't keep opposing mother all the time. Keith turned around and walked away. But there were four burly men walking towards him.
"This job is really a good one. The employer said that that woman is Cuenca's number one beauty, a beauty that no wealthy person can catch up with. Yet, she fell into our hands."
Keith suddenly stopped in his tracks, he looked up at the four approaching men. All four of them were over six feet tall, with beefy faces and a malicious glimmer in their eyes. No matter what these men were here for, Haley wouldn't benefit from it. The four men didn't even notice a child standing in the corner as they continued to discuss in low voices.
"I just saw that woman at the venue. She has really long legs and a big chest."
"Stop fantasizing here. Our main task is to kill that woman, otherwise, we won't get the five million dollars afterwards."
"Isn't it just killing a woman? It's such a simple thing. I want to have some fun before killing her."
Keith's eyes turned cold in this instant. Mother actually wanted Haley dead! No matter what, Haley is mother's own sister. How could mother be so ruthless? Keith took a step back and took out his phone to make a call.
Haley sat in the conference room, bored, and scrolled through the news on her phone. Her speech at the venue had already made it to the news. The release of the Martínez Group's new product hadn't attracted much attention, but what caught the interest of netizens was her becoming the third largest shareholder of the DeRoss Group.
"Who said that the DeRoss family is malicious?"

Four burly men entered one after another. She frowned, about to ask what was going on, but the last man to enter closed the door to the conference room. The four men approached her in a semicircle surrounding her.
Haley's senses were always sharp, and she had already realized that she might have walked into a trap. She stood up alertly, gripping the glass water cup in her hand.
“Are you Haley?” The leader of the burly men smirked and asked.
