The fact that Ivan introduced her to the VVIP client of the Winston family signaled something. It meant that Ivan considered her as one of them!
Thinking about this, a brighter smile bloomed on Emily's face. "Mr. Robinson may have thinning hair, but upon closer inspection, he is quite handsome," she casually complimented Liam Robinson.
Pleased by the beautiful woman's praise, Liam Robinson was almost beaming. He modestly replied, "Miss DeRoss, you are the real beauty. In all the parties I've attended in Cuenca, this is the first time I've seen someone who’s even shiner than the stars in the sky."
Emily's eyes curved with her smile. What woman wouldn't love receiving such compliments, especially from a successful individual like him? She lowered her head, pursed her lips, and adopted a coquettish demeanor.
Ivan drank most of the wine in his glass and calmly said, "Miss DeRoss has just been discharged from the hospital and is still feeling unwell. I would appreciate it if Mr. Robinson could take care of her."
" Liam Robinson said with a nod. "Mrs. Winston, rest assured, I will take good care of Miss. DeRoss!"
Emily felt something was off and turned her head. "Ivan, why don't you take care of me instead? I..."
"I need to use the restroom," Ivan interrupted her, pulling his hand away and walking away.
Emily bit her lip, feeling the growing sense of unease in her heart.
"Miss. DeRoss, let's go sit over there and chat," Liam Robinson warmly smiled. "I heard that the DeRoss family has a significant heavy industry, I wonder if there's a chance for collaboration between us and the DeRoss family."
Upon hearing this, Emily suppressed the ominous feeling in her heart. If she could negotiate with the Robinson Family as a client, it would help salvage her unfavorable image among the shareholders of the DeRoss Group.

Though the shareholders of the DeRoss Group were primarily profit-driven, everyone knew that the Roscente Group and the Robinson Family had more lucrative projects. Even if Emily successfully collaborated with the Robinson Family, it wouldn't make much difference.
