"Owen, don't talk nonsense, Mr. Lumi is not a human trafficker." Haley walked over, holding her skirt, surprised. "Sorry, Mr. Lumi, don’t take the kids words personally. I hope they didn't cause you any trouble."
"Mommy, he really is a human trafficker." Keith frowned. "He tempted my sister with lollipops, only a human trafficker would do such a thing."
Todd nodded. "We have already called the police."
Cauth remained calm, "Miss Deross, I just found your daughter cute, so I couldn't help but give her candy, I really had no ill intentions."
"I know." Haley nodded, turning to her son. "Todd, cancel the police report."
Todd stood still.
He found the guy too suspicious.
Haley helplessly touched her forehead. "This is Mr. Lumi, the young master of the Lumi Group. The Lumi Family ranks in the top three in Watertown, he couldn't possibly be involved in human trafficking."
"The young master of the Lumi family?" Todd's eyes narrowed. "Mrs. Lumi, who accused my mom of plagiarism, is your sister, right?"
Cauth was speechless. He knew nothing about the grudge between Hollis and Haley.
He suddenly felt he shouldn’t be there.
"Miss Deross, this is just a misunderstanding." Cauth's forehead was already sweating. "I'll apologize in person when I invite you for dinner next time, I have something deal with now. See you."
With that, he turned and left, his back somehow giving off a sense of fleeing.
The waiters in the shop were still discussing the matter.

Haley coughed softly. "Mr. Lumi is not a human trafficker. I know him. It was just a misunderstanding."

She couldn't help but think of Cauth's awkward appearance just now. She couldn’t understand why this person deliberately approached Angela.

Haley smiled and decided no to think about it.

She was surprised. "Are you changing hospitals?”
Ivan smirked, "I’m getting discharged today."
Haley frowned. "The doctor said you could only be discharged on the 5th of next month, and you need to stay in the hospital for observation for a week. You should just stay put."
Ivan knew she would insist that he stayed in the hospital. He took out the examination report and hospitalization form from the bedside table, and confidently said, "The doctor said my injury has healed, so I just need to rest more at home and avoid moving around too much. There's no need to stay in the hospital.”
The attending doctor passing by the door felt quite wronged upon hearing this. However, he couldn't refute it yet.
