Thomas said, "Didn't we agree that I'd take you to the amusement park tomorrow? I've already bought the tickets and lots of snacks. You don't want to let me down after all that effort, do you?"
Todd looked up and said in a low voice, "Uncle Thomas, something might have happened to Mommy."
Thomas's heart skipped a beat.

"Uncle Thomas, do you know something?" Keith asked sharply, staring at him.
Thomas said nonchalantly, "Your mommy just has a cold and felt dizzy. That's why she fainted in the airport restroom. It's not a big deal; she'll be out of the hospital in a couple of days. Todd, where are you going?"
