Haley ran her fingers through Todd's soft hair, her voice gentle yet firm. "Todd, if it were for the kids, two or three years ago, I would have married a man. I couldn't just give away my happiness for the rest of my life for the kids. Owen smiled. "I think the 6th of next month is fine!"
Haley was speechless.
She had just agreed to the proposal yesterday, and today they were already discussing the engagement date, which was too fast.
Moreover, the 6th of next month was less than ten days away from now.
