Chapter 127 Move to another country

Mr. Anderson carefully considered his words in his mind and slowly said, "I admire Miss DeRoss's design concept. She has adopted a completely new programming approach, shattering and blending the traditional modular writing into a new set of code rules. I find it quite daring..."

Ivan nodded, a hint of appreciation in his eyes.

He had dabbled in programming himself, and he was confident that the world couldn't find more than three programmers who would dare to design a project like this.

Haley had truly impressed him.

He tossed the proposal book over, saying, "There are benefits in taking risks. The initial draft is finalized for now. You continue to negotiate this project."

After Ivan finished speaking, he went straight into the CEO's office.

Luke patted Mr. Anderson's shoulder. "Mr. Winston is very optimistic about this project, Mr. Anderson..."

"If you get this done, you might even get a promotion and a raise!"

Mr. Anderson gave a bitter smile.

Mr. Winston, being unfamiliar with technical matters, naturally couldn't understand the hidden risks of this project.

Having worked in the IT industry for over a decade, he had long mastered the intelligent market, and this proposed design was simply impractical.

How beautiful it seemed in imagination, but how helpless it became in execution.

With a face full of bitterness, Mr. Anderson returned to the technical department, coincidentally running into Noah Jackson, the assistant manager of the department.

Noah asked with concern, "Why the long face, Mr. Anderson? What happened?"

"Noah, how many projects are you currently working on?" Mr. Anderson asked as he looked at him.

Noah rubbed his chin and replied, "Just one project for backend maintenance, which is nearing completion. I was actually going to ask if you had any projects to assign to me."

"This is the A-F Intelligent Car Project for the next quarter at the Winston Group. It's handed over to you. If you have any questions, ask me," Mr. Anderson said, throwing the document into Noah’shands before turning back to his office.

Noah happily responded, "Thank you, Mr. Anderson!"

Upon entering his office, Mr. Anderson was greeted by his assistant, who asked, "Will assigning the project to Mr. Jackson from the Winston Group displease Mr. Winston?"

"The backend for the Winston Group needs an upgrade. It's the most important thing for the whole company," Mr. Anderson said casually. "Noah Jackson is skilled technically but lacks experience. Letting him be in charge of the A-F project will allow him to learn and expose himself to many things. It's an opportunity for him to grow."

The assistant praised, "Mr. Anderson, you're truly generous, always thinking about nurturing your subordinates."

Mr. Anderson silently tugged at the corner of his mouth.

The A-F project was destined to fail. He might as well do something meaningful with that time.

As for Noah Jackson, as a young man, he needed to experience failures in order to become capable on his own.

Over in the CEO's office, Ivan sat down in his chair just as his phone started to vibrate on his desk.

Glancing at the caller ID, his cold and stern face softened slightly. "Mom, why are you calling at this time?"

In C country, it was morning while it was noon in Australia. His mother usually had lunch at this hour.

"How have you been considering the issue I mentioned last time we spoke?"

Sipping her afternoon tea, Mrs. Winston asked calmly.

Ivan frowned and said, "Both children are living well in C country. If you miss them, then come back to live in C country."
