"Haley, Vanguard Corporation just called," Ariana reported respectfully, intentionally mentioning Vanguard Corporation. Reid's secretary was filled with envy. Her eyes turned red.
Haley smiled and said, "Reid, I am indeed a bit busy today, but I will treat you to a meal another day."

Haley looked up and saw the corridor not far away. It was the secretary's office, where several secretaries were busy back and forth.
She pushed open the door and deliberately didn't close it.
"Mr. Zephyr."
Haley had a polite smile on her face as she sat across from Sterling.
Sterling glanced at the open door, but his gaze remained cold and gloomy. "Haley, I invited you here today to talk about the details."
Haley placed the documents in her hand on the coffee table and pushed them over. "Mr. Zephyr, take a look first. If there's anything you don't understand, I can answer it anytime."
Sterling opened the documents, and after a long five minutes, he barely managed to read a page.
He pursed his lips. "Sorry, Haley. I only have a superficial understanding of these. It might take some time for me to finish reading. Why don't you have a cup of coffee first?"
Haley glanced at the coffee in front of her but didn't drink it.
This coffee had been placed here before she arrived. She never drank anything that had been out of her sight.
She randomly grabbed a magazine from the bookshelf and flipped through it slowly. Suddenly, a refreshing scent reached her nose. She glanced to the side and saw a pot of roses on the coffee table, in full bloom, with a fragrant aroma filling the room.
She withdrew her gaze and continued reading, but her eyelids suddenly felt heavy.
The autumn afternoon was a bit hot.
The sunlight came in through the French window and fell on Ivan's shoulders, making him feel restless.
He checked the time on his wrist. It was three o'clock in the afternoon, still over two hours until preschool dismissal.
These two hours became a bit hard to endure.
He called Luke in, "How is the progress of the A-F project?"

Ivan frowned and interrupted him, "Have you encountered any problems during the process?"
Luke shook his head. "Everything is going smoothly."
