Chapter 946
Haley's eyes flashed with anger as she kicked Marcus right in the stomach.
She couldn't stand Marcus defending his mistress while treating his wife like dirt.
With almost all her strength behind that kick, Marcus went flying onto the road, even making a car screech to a halt.
"Ms. Deross, what did I ever do to you?" Marcus clutched his chest, his face twisted in rage. "The rumors were true; you are violent. Using the Winston Family's power to hit people whenever you want."
Ivan cracked his knuckles, the sound echoing in the air. He smirked coldly. "Since you know the Winston Family's got her back, you better shut up."
Marcus was beyond pissed. He could barely handle Haley, and now with Ivan in the mix, he was totally outmatched. He lay on the ground, clutching his chest, howling in pain.
Ivan turned to Haley, noticing her dazed eyes and clenched fists. He sighed and walked over. "It's okay, let's go home."
He knew Haley was right; a guy like Marcus didn't deserve any mercy.
"Celine, call an ambulance for me, quick!" Marcus lay there, feeling like his ribs were shattered.
Celine sneered, "You just pissed off Mr. and Mrs. Winston. The Winston Family won't let you off easy. We're done."
Marcus was stunned. "I did this for you..."
"Stop!" Celine glared at him, "We were just using each other. You'll be broke soon. You think I'll stick around? Marcus, I'm out. Take care."
She swayed her hips and walked away without a second glance.
"Bitch! Slut!" Marcus was so mad he almost coughed up blood.
Barbara had seen the whole thing. She walked over and stepped on Marcus's thigh, laughing softly. "Finally getting what you deserve, Marcus!"
After years of his bullying, this was the first time she felt sweet revenge.
Marcus wanted to slap her, but the pain in his chest stopped him. He took a deep breath. "Call an ambulance, quick!"
"Do you think I'll help you?" Barbara patted his furious face. "Marcus, once you're out of the hospital, we're getting a divorce."
She had made up her mind; this marriage wasn't worth it. She stood up and walked away down the road.
Marcus was so angry he almost passed out. He turned to the luxury car that had stopped. "Quick, help me call an ambulance!"
The driver recognized Ivan as a local resident.
