Haley and her kids were playing a puzzle on the living room carpet.
The TV was tuned to the news when Haley heard a familiar name, glancing up at the screen.

"Daddy and Mommy are in love!" Angela said, covering her mouth and laughing. "Mommy's face is all red."
Todd coughed and said, "Angela, stop teasing Mommy."
Why did he feel like Angela was getting more and more talkative?
Owen asked with a pained expression, "Mommy, do we have to go to school again?"
Haley nodded. "You haven't been to school for over twenty days. We need to go through the procedures to end your vacation."
Owen continued to sulk. "If I had known, I wouldn't have been so eager to find Daddy. After bringing Daddy back, not only did I lose Mommy, but I also have to go to school every day. Oh my God, I'm so miserable."
"Then you can stay home," Keith said coolly. "We will go to preschool with Mommy."
Owen fell silent.
Staying home alone would be too pitiful.
Owen immediately said obediently, "I think school is pretty fun. Mommy, I want to go to school."
Haley couldn't help but laugh.
She changed into a dress and took the kids out. Just as her car reached the end of the winding road in front of the Winston family villa, another car approached head-on.
Cauth gripped the steering wheel, his pupils contracting sharply.
For over half a month, he dispatched numerous searches for Haley, only to meet with repeated disappointment.
Just as he believed Haley had vanished, he learned the Winston family villa was abuzz again.
So, he drove over to try his luck.
