Todd stood at the door, looking at the room's decorations and furnishings, and a wave of warmth surged in his heart.

Ivan walked to the cabinet near the balcony and took out a bottle of mineral water. He twisted open the cap before handing it over.
Haley tilted her head back and took a big sip, feeling slightly more comfortable.
She glanced at the time and realized it was only eleven o'clock.
In the past, she would still be busy working at this time, but today, she had already taken a nap.
She sat down on the edge of the bed and pursed her lips. "Mr. Winston, let's have a chat, shall we?"
Ivan sat far away on the sofa, nodding his head. "What do you want to talk about?"

Haley rubbed her hair. "As for Owen, he should be studying with other children his age instead of being alone at home learning that boring knowledge."

She had long forgotten that she was wearing Ivan's white shirt.
