Chapter 468

Holding his sister's hand, Todd walked over and obediently said, "Mom, Dad."

Angela followed suit and sweetly said, "Mom, Dad."

Ivan bent down and picked up the little girl. "Did you miss Daddy at school today?"

"I did!"

Angela nodded vigorously with an innocent and bright smile.

Todd looked up, his little eyebrows slightly furrowed. "Mom, why do you look a little uncomfortable?"

Haley smiled and said, "I've been in a meeting all day. Someone was smoking in the office, and the air was heavy, so my head felt a bit stuffy. Let's go, let's get in the car first."

Ivan put Angela in the back seat and carefully fastened the seat belts for both children before starting the engine.

Todd sat in the back seat, leaning slightly forward. He sniffed hard but didn't smell any cigarette smoke on Haley.

He immediately noticed the scarf around Haley's neck. He remembered that Mom didn't usually wear scarves.

He spoke slowly, "Mom, this scarf looks really pretty."

Haley's heart skipped a beat.

She knew her son too well. Whenever he brought up a topic, he had a purpose.

In other words, Todd was already suspecting the tattoo on her neck.

Actually, it wouldn't have been a big deal if Todd had seen it, but the whole situation was too strange. She hadn't figured out what was going on yet.

"Todd, do you also think this scarf is beautiful?" Ivan suddenly spoke up. "I gave it to your Mom as a gift, but she thought it wasn't nice. Todd, be honest. Doesn't this scarf make your Mom's skin look especially white?"

Todd stared at the scarf without saying a word.

Angela suddenly clapped her hands and said, "It's pretty, very pretty!"

Haley smiled and said, "If Angela likes it, Mom can give this scarf to you, okay?"

The little girl waved her hand. "This is Dad's gift to Mom. I don't want it..."

A pleased curve appeared at the corner of Ivan's lips.

His daughter was truly worthy of being his...

The car sped all the way and quickly arrived at the Winston family mansion gate.

As Haley got out of the car, the two children rushed out of the house.

"Slow down, you two little darlings, don't run too fast!"

Alfred was anxious behind until the two young masters safely ran up to Haley, and only then did he breathe a sigh of relief.

Mrs. Winston put down the teacup in her hand and also walked out of the house.

As soon as she saw the children, Mrs. Winston's worries from last night instantly disappeared. She walked over and embraced her granddaughter, smiling happily, and said, "Angela, do you miss Grandma?"

"I do!"

The little girl's eyes were full of smiles, and it was hard to tell that she was once an autistic child.

Mrs. Winston had bought some nice things at the auction again this morning. She couldn't wait for the servants to bring them out and pile them on the cushion like a marketplace.

"Mom, I miss you so much!"

Just as Greer was about to climb onto Haley's body, Ivan pulled him over.

The child squirmed uncomfortably. "Dad, I don't want you to hold me. I want Mom to hold me."

"Either I hold you, or you stand," Ivan responded coldly.
Owen tilted his head and pondered for several minutes before compromising. "Okay then, I'll stand."

This must not be his biological son!
