Ivan pondered. "Do you have to attend tonight's banquet?"
Haley glanced at him. "What's the matter?"
This was the celebration banquet hosted by Vanguard Corporation. The people attending tonight's banquet were all future business partners who would cooperate with Vanguard Corporation. She could take this opportunity to expand her connections. Naturally, she had to attend.
Ivan was speechless under her gaze.

Ariana nodded and while walking, she began, "The biggest winner from yesterday afternoon was the Martínez Group. They became Vanguard Corporation's main chip supplier..."
Haley scanned the banquet hall and indeed saw her uncle Steven and cousin Justin.
Ever since the Martínez Group launched their new revolutionary smart products, they have become one of the top three internet technology companies in Watertown. It was indeed a wise decision for Vanguard Corporation to collaborate with them.
"Next are the other two groups, who became Vanguard Corporation's component suppliers."
As Ariana was speaking, Haley noticed Louis and Mark approaching her with a glass of wine each.
"Haley, you truly are a genius." Louis raised his champagne glass toward her. "You were able to surpass the president of the Lumi Group. You're truly exceptional. No wonder Ivan is completely infatuated with you."
Haley raised an eyebrow nonchalantly. "Louis, you're not bad either. Wasting your time all day, fooling around, and yet, you managed to establish a partnership with Vanguard Corporation. I truly admire you."
Louis immediately became speechless.
This woman was indeed too sharp-tongued. Every time they crossed paths, he gained nothing from it.
