Chapter 67 Going to Find Her Personally
Luke narrowed his eyes, "Do you know how long Mr. Winston, Mr. Granger, Mr. Miller, and others have been waiting for Ms. DeRoss?"
The receptionist turned pale, "Luke, she said she didn't have an appointment. I followed the company's procedures; I didn't do anything wrong... She, she didn't even reveal her identity, how was I supposed to know she's the CEO's client?”
"Enough, think about how you're going to explain this to Mr. Winston." Luke glanced at her coldly and turned around, returning to the CEO's office. The poor receptionist, was left in shock, her legs went weak, almost causing her to collapse to the ground.
Haley drove to her studio. Justin had helped her find this workspace, and the location was great. The office was over 100 square meters, small yet exquisite, exuding warmth in every corner. Before she could even start working, her phone vibrated. The caller ID showed Luke's name.
She calmly answered the call, "Luke, what's up?"
"Ms. DeRoss, Mr. Winston is waiting for you at the Winston Group. What time can you come?"
Haley smirked, "So, it's Mr. Winston who wants to discuss cooperation. Well, please have him come to my office. I'll send you the address."
After saying that, she hung up and sent the office address. Seeing the message on his phone, Luke didn't know how to respond. He knew Mr. Winston's temperament – he didn’t like to be waiting for someone.
This time, he had waited for half an hour, only to be told that the other party wouldn't come.
He had no idea how to explain this to Mr. Winston. But he had no choice but to go and inform him.
Luke entered the office, before he could say anything, Louis said, "Luke, don't say anything yet. Let me guess how that woman, Haley, responded." Luke forced a smile.
"She must have said that the receptionist must be fired before she steps into the Winston Group, right?" Louis confidently exclaimed. That calculative woman would definitely make such a request.
Luke shook his head, saying, "No."
Louis rubbed his chin and guessed again, "Ah, then she must have said that the Winston Group has to send someone to personally pick her up for her to be willing to come and discuss cooperation, right?"
Luke continued shaking his head. Louis wanted to keep guessing, but Mark covered his mouth and said, "Enough, can't Luke just tell us?"
Ivan glanced at them. Luke nervously spoke, "Ms. DeRoss said that if the Winston Group wants to discuss cooperation with her, then... they should please have Mr. Winston personally go to her office for a discussion. Here's Ms. DeRoss's office address."
"Damn! This woman!" Louis cursed, annoyed. "So many people are desperate for an opportunity to cooperate with the Winston Group, yet she comes up with such a ridiculous request! Ivan, we're men, we can't compromise!"
However, Ivan stood up directly and calmly said, "Get the car ready, we're going."
Louis, was completely taken aback. Was this the same high and mighty Mr. Winston he knew? He was actually lowering herself for this woman, Haley!
Mark bumped his shoulder and whispered, "I told you, Ivan is interested in that woman."
Louis rubbed his chin. "I can tell, but he clearly lacks my expertise in chasing women. Would you believe that I can win Ms. DeRoss over in just three days?"
Mark took a deep breath. "If you're not afraid of death, go ahead and provoke Ms. DeRoss."
