Chapter 1036
Keith gave Owen a knowing look, which finally helped Owen manage to suppress his excitement. Owen's big eyes were glowing, reflecting Camilla's figure.
Camilla felt even more complicated. Why couldn't she see through the intentions of these people in front of her?
"I'm taking Miss Jenkins to the hospital. You all don't need to follow," Ivan stood up and said calmly.
"Miss Jenkins, are you sick?" Angela asked, full of concern.
"I'm fine," Camilla said helplessly. "Just a check-up, don't worry."
Ivan stood beside her with one hand in his pocket, his voice carrying a hint of coldness. "Keith, take care of your siblings. We're leaving now."
"Okay, Daddy!"
Keith nodded in agreement.
The four children didn't reluctantly withdraw their gazes until the car disappeared from the villa's entrance.
"When can we openly call her Mommy?" Owen sighed.
Todd said softly, "Daddy probably wants to court Mommy again."
Keith nodded. "Even though Mommy has lost her memory, deep down she should still have feelings for us."
"Can Daddy manage it?" Angela was very worried. "Mommy seems to be a bit resistant to Daddy. Should we help him?"
Owen blinked. "Without our help, it would take Daddy at least a month to win Mommy over."
"A month?" Todd sneered. "You're overestimating Daddy. I think it will take at least six months."
"Six months is too long." Keith shook his head. "We can't wait any longer."
"How about this..."
Todd beckoned, and the four children huddled together.
The car drove steadily on the road, with the gentle spring breeze blowing in.
"Mr. Winston, I don't want to go to the hospital anymore. Let me get off here," Camilla said softly.
Ivan gripped the steering wheel, his voice assertive. "Let's get the check-up first. You can leave right after, and I'll wait for the results."
Camilla had nothing to say. Ivan had made it clear; there was no point in resisting any further.
The car soon stopped at the entrance of the private hospital invested by the Winston Group.
Ivan had already called to make an appointment. As soon as they entered, a nurse respectfully led them to the doctor's office.
Ivan pulled Camilla to sit down and calmly consulted, "She has had cramps while bathing for the past few years, making it impossible for her to stand. Can you give her a comprehensive check-up?"
The doctor pushed his glasses up and said methodically, "This condition might indicate an underlying health issue. Muscle spasms suggest internal problems, so we need to do an MRI, ultrasound, and blood tests..."
He wrote out all the necessary tests. Looking at the stack of test orders in her hand, Camilla frowned deeply. "Is this really necessary?"
She had a full-body check-up every week in Brussville, without discovering major health issues.
Ivan looked at her firmly. "The doctor said your lips are slightly purple, which might indicate a heart problem. It's better to check to be sure."
He needed to know her body condition.
"Some of these test results will take three days to come out. I'll personally bring them to you once they're ready," Ivan added softly.
Camilla pressed her lips together. She couldn't afford to be careless about her own well-being since Ivan was so serious.
