Chapter 494
"Why did he separate us? Why did he want to separate us?" Owen scratched his head, looking puzzled.
Keith just silently watched him, with a line written on his face. "You didn't believe it when I said you were stupid, do you believe it now?"
Owen was speechless.
The car soon stopped at the Winston family mansion.
Todd was the first to push open the door and come out. He looked around the mansion's living room, his brows furrowing tighter and tighter: "Where is Angela? Why hasn't she come back yet?"
Alfred smiled and said, "Mrs. Winston took Miss Angela to the zoo. It may take a while for them to come back."
As soon as he finished speaking, a car stopped at the entrance of the mansion.
Mrs. Winston came out of the car carrying Angela.
Owen hurriedly went up to her. "Angela, I miss you so much. Wherever you go in the future, I will go too. I will never go to take an IQ test again."
Going to take an IQ test was simply an insult to him!
He hugged his soft little sister, feeling a little better finally.
Todd's eyes narrowed more and more. If his sister was fine, did something happen to his mother?
He had a bad feeling.
He looked at Alfred and asked obediently, "Alfred, where did dad and mom go?"
Alfred mysteriously said, "This is not something you kids should know. Wait until tonight when your dad brings mom back, then you will know what they did."
"Grandma, did dad go on a date with mom?"
Owen grabbed Mrs. Winston's arm and asked slyly.
Mrs. Winston's face turned pale for a moment. She steadied herself and tried to remain calm, saying, "Probably, are you all hungry? Alfred, quickly have the kitchen prepare the meal."
Alfred hurried to the kitchen to give instructions.
Todd looked at Mrs. Winston, feeling that something was not right.
If Ivan and Haley went on a date, why did Mrs. Winston look so nervous?
Even Keith noticed something was off. He pursed his lips and said, "How about we call mom?"
"Okay!" Owen raised his hand in agreement. "I want to know what dad and mom are doing on their date and why they didn't take us with them."
Mrs. Winston's breathing suddenly became erratic. "Absolutely do not make that call!"
"Why?" Todd and Keith asked at the same time.
Mrs. Winston clenched her fingers. "Today is a very important day for your dad and mom. It's best if you don't disturb them. Now, go wash your hands and get ready to eat."
She took Owen's left hand and Angela's right hand and went to the bathroom.
Todd took out his phone and called Haley.
"Sorry, the number you have dialed is switched off."
Keith tightened his lips. "I'll call dad."
The phone rang, and the same mechanical female voice said, "Sorry, the number you have dialed is currently busy..."
"Do we have a computer?" Todd asked coldly. "I want to check mom's location."
Keith took Todd upstairs to the study.
Todd turned on the computer, his fingers swiftly flying over the keyboard. Soon, his brows furrowed tightly. "Mom's location has been blocked."
Keith pursed his lips. "Check dad's location."
Todd's fingers continued to fly over the keyboard. Three minutes later, a red dot appeared on the computer screen, moving quickly toward the outskirts by the seaside.
