Ivan looked over the entire bar with cold eyes.
Every exit here was blocked by bouncers, and he didn't believe Martin could disappear.
Just then, a stunning figure appeared in his sight.
He frowned, then walked over quickly. "Haley, what are you doing here?"
"Didn't I say I came to the bar with my colleagues?" Haley pursed her lips, "Have you been here for a while, or just arrived?"
Ivan didn't know why she asked like that, but he still answered seriously, "I've been searching for Sterling's trace in the car outside the bar, just came in here, what's up?"
Haley sniffed at the tip of her nose, not smelling any alcohol on Ivan.
But just now, she clearly saw Ivan drink at least two glasses of whiskey.
Was she wrong?
Just as she was puzzled, a scream suddenly came from the direction of the bar's restroom.
Ivan's eyes turned cold, and he walked over quickly.
Haley frowned and followed.
"This is the women's restroom, what are you trying to do?" Katherine stood at the door of the women's restroom, glaring angrily at the three or four black-clad bouncers in front of her.
The leading bouncer's voice turned cold, "Last warning, move aside!"
"No!" Katherine propped the door with her hand, her attitude firm, "If you dare to barge in, I'll report you for indecent assault."
The three or four bouncers were furious, but they didn't dare to really barge in. If there were women inside using the restroom, it would be really hard to explain.
The sound of shoes hitting the ground came, followed by Ivan's cold voice, "Miss Katherine, are you sure you won't move aside?"
"I'm sure."
Katherine raised her chin, looking fearless.
"Bang!" There was a loud noise from the women's restroom, the sound of glass breaking.
Katherine visibly relaxed, smiling as she stepped aside, "Since Mr. Winston like the women's restroom, please come in."
Ivan's face turned ashen, "Chase!"
Four or five bouncers rushed into the women's restroom, jumped out of the window, and soon the sound of car horns could be heard on the street.
Katherine smirked, "Mr. Winston, I advise you to spare others."
"I advise you too, don't associate with demons." Ivan's lips were cold, "Beware of getting burned."
"Let's see who this fire will burn!" After saying this, Katherine picked up her bag, walked away in high heels.
Haley walked over with a frown, "Ivan, what's going on, do Katherine and Sterling know each other?"
"They do." Ivan's voice was deep, "Katherine came to Watertown to open a counseling clinic. I thought she was expanding her market, but now I understand, she's covering for Sterling."
Haley furrowed her brows tightly.
Sterling, this person, was really hard to deal with.
She paused and said, "It seems like Katherine has a good relationship with your mother, maybe keep your mother away from Katherine in the future."
Ivan knew this even without Haley saying it.
His face was very dark, like a dark cloud sweeping in from the horizon.
At the age of fifteen, he lost his father because of Martin.
